Five Best Songs of KK. Review on Five Best Songs of Kay Kay

I am here to write my best 5 songs of Krishan Kumar Menon, known as Kay Kay and written as KK, a popular name in the singing field, be in the indi pop songs or movies in bollywood industry.

Born on 23rd of August at Trichur, Kerala. He did his schooling from Mt. Saint Mary, Delhi & did his graduation from Kirori Mal College Delhi University. As his career he chose the field of music. In different stages he went singing with many bands.

This Delhi-based singer started singing jingles when he was 2 yrs. His career started to run when he got call from Leslie Lewis to sing a 1 min jingle for UTV. He has sung over 3, 500 jingles and among his well-known & memorable jingles include Monte Carlo, Sunny Bajaj, TVS Scooty, Asian Paints, Coca Cola, Jumpin’, Yo Frooti, Colgate Gel, CloseUp, Cinthol, Britannia, Amul Cheese, Pepsi ‘Yeh Dil Mange More’ and many more. He did singing for the title tracks for tv serials like “Just Mohabbat” & “Hip Hip Hurray”

He got on the peak with his first album “Pal”. This album was the greatest success in his career. He started singing in hindi movies with the song 'Chhod Aaye Hum Vo Galiyaan' in Gulzar’s Maachis. He has given different kind of touch to different songs like he had sung Awarapan Banjarapan' of Jism to the rocking song Ding Dong from Kucch To Hai and the tragic song 'Tadap Tadap Ke' in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam. He has worked on variety of moods and emotions into his vocals. Personally talking about him, he is kind of guy who says NO to discos and parties. KK loves to be in his cozy apartment at Yari Road with wife Jyoti and his two kids, isn’t it lovely… .

Ok, now let’s move towards my choice of 5 best songs of KK:-

1. Yaaron Dosti Badi Hi Haseen Hai(Pal – KK’s album) The album “Pal” is KK’s first album and biggest hit of his career. It’s really difficult to select only one song from his album “Pal”, coz each and every songs of this album is the best. This album was released by Sony Music, and was also the first Indian solo artist debut album from the company.

The album was arranged, composed and produced by Lezz(Leslie Lewis - Colonial Cousins), lyrics written by Mehboob. All the tracks have been sung by KK. This album contains beautiful & memorable songs. And as my 5 best songs I would write all the songs from this album of his but there are other songs from the movies which needs mention here and I like those songs too, so would like to tell you that all the songs from his album Pal is equally best.

The song “Pal… yeh hai pyar ke pal” is another beautiful and hit song from this album. I think like this I will be writing all songs from this album. I chose the above mentioned song from the album from rest songs coz it’s a lovely song based on Friendship and the lyrics of this song is very nice. The song says how much friendship is beautiful and precious in one’s life and life is nothing without friendship, so yaaron dosti badi hi haseen hai, yeh na ho toh kya phir zindagi hai.

2. Aap Ki Duwa Hai Pyaar Huwa(Pal – KK’s album) This song is from the same album “Pal”. I was thinking not to mention another song from this album only, but couldn’t leave this song without mentioning it here. This song got popular and still is the best song of KK. This is a romantic and a fast number, and it says that the boy is in love and singing this song for his beloved. I wuld also like to mention one more song from this album which might not be on many’s list but I love this song, its “Dil se mat khel”…(have u listened? no. then go for it….)

3. Tu Aashiqui Hai(Jhankar Beats) I think this song needs no introduction coz its such a fantastic song and it have gained lot of popularity. I simply love this song. This is a love song and the music and lyrics of this song is superb. This song is picturized on Sanjay Suri playing guitar and located in Church.

Would like to write few lines of this song coz its so beautiful…

4.'Tere Sang Ek Simple Si Coffee'(Zameen) Its another hit song on the list and romantic one…. The movie didn’t have so much notice as this song was. It’s a lovely song played on Abhishek Bachchan and Bipasa Basu… both couple looked awesome and as good as this song is so the visual is… The song truly defines the feelings of a lover for whom having a cup of simple coffee with his/her beloved gives kick and rocks and the simple coffee becomes the best coffee ever had… its that lovely… hmmm… must try a cup of coffee…:)

5. Chhota Sa Mann Hai(Bas Itna Sa Khwaab Hai) Even though it’s a slow song and bit senti but it’s a lovely song with nice https://lyrics. This song is picturized on Rani Mukherjee and Abhishek Bachchan and in the movie this song is played as background song. I like this song very much… many people might not have gone through this song but once you’ll listen u gonna like it… recommended for the people who love sentimental songs …

There are lots many more good songs by KK but only 5 was to be selected so the above mentioned songs are my personal favorite songs.

Chale jaise(Main Hoon Na) –gr8 dance number & bubbly song

O Jaana(Tere Naam) – peppy number
