I do not watch a lot of TV but there are a few programs which I try not to miss. Let me tell you my top 5 fave TV shows in an order. So, here I go,
1) Friends - Oh My God, I am sure all the people who watch this sitcom know what I mean. This is a comedy program which revolves around a group of six very different friends. This program is absolutely the funniest on TV . The program has achieved somewhat of a cult-status. It airs on 2 channels in India. It airs on Star World on weekdays at 8:30 PM and also airs on Zee English.
2) Whose Line is it Anyway - This program is a kinda stage based show. This show is hosted by Drew Carrey. Im this program they are four characters and they are asked to do some things which the audience or Drew Carrey asks them to enact or perform. This show is not rehearsed and the comedy in this show is next only to friends. Be warned- This Program can give you some real cramps in your stomach! This is aired on Star World on Wednesdays at 9:30 PM
3) Believe it or Not - I am really interested in the weird happenings and events nad this program really satiates my thirst. This program reports us of strange and weird happenings and people around the world. They showed a hotel where one had to eat without any lights! Believe it or Not! This show is aired on AXN on Tuesdays at 9:00 PM in English and the next day on the same time in Hindi
4) US Top Ten - This is not really a show but it is one of my fave shows as it tells us about the Top 10 movies in the USA. This is the only program in India which lets me know of the Top 10 movies. It shows us trailors of the movie and the box office gross of the movie in that week and its total gross. It airs on Star Movies quite frequently for around 10-15 mins.
5) Colossal CountDown - This is a program which not many know of but this program is just so cool. It tells us about some of the corniest movies and ham scenes in Hindi.of all time. Sample titles of some them, Aaya Youvan Jhum Ke ( Youth came running) , Dhulan Bani Daayan ( Bride becomes Witch). This can also give you some indepth info on the movies of the Great Mithun Da. Hosted by the funny Gaurav, it airs on Channel V. A not to miss program.
