MS Top Ten Movies. Review on Five Best Reviews on MouthShut

The most tedious job on earth – Choosing 10 best out of 56200....

This may not be the best of all reviews and it is impossible for anyone to justify and so I have listed ten best from what I have read so far. I didn’t do any special research work for this. I just listed that came to my mind immediately. Can also be named as “Ten most unforgettable reviews of Mouthshut”.

A Review is a Movie

Director is the Person who takes care of all the departments to make it a successful review.

A review is successful only when all the above are taken care with equal importance.

Maniratnam said in a recent interview that, “I don’t intentionally go for new way of presentation and screenplay. Particularly when we take up a usual subject like that of “Alaipayuthey” which was dealt many time before, it may be boring for the audience to watch it again and again in the same way and in that case a new way of presentation becomes compulsory. Only then you can take the emotions of the character more closer to the audience''. The case is same here, there are a lot of Maniratnam’s and Alaipayuthey’s here in MS. So the innovation and creativity are the key to deliver the best. Box Office Result i.e., The number of ratings and the comments on the are not at all the criteria for choosing the best.

St: Award Show, which honors the most popular writers in Mouthshut

S: I think this is the first review on MS in this format. The screenplay is so innovative that you feel as if you are really watching an Oscar show and more interesting is the technical awards which honors some of the sections in MS like comments section and a subtle humor is well woven with the screenplay.

E:Though the award show had lot of categories he finished the review within 8K limits, which shows his skills in editing. Slick and tightly packed.

V:A Classic Commercial Flick worth watching any number of times

St: Story is usual listing of names of ten best instead of five

S: The screenplay stands out like the discussion between popular movie actors, directors about producing a new movie called “Best Reviewers of MS” and from that conversation he derives the Ms-Id’s of each best writer. And best thing is that he has given equal importance to both old and new writers.

E: The movie is quite lengthy but the different screenplay and an underlying slapstick comedy holds your interest till the end.

V: A Classic Comedy - Have fun watching it

M: Choosing Gifts for your wife

St: The list of material gifts is usual but he has added some more gifts, which makes it a straight from heart movie, which is an attempt to movie both massy and classy

S: This writer has an unconventional way of presenting reviews with quotes relevant to the topic and the quotes that he added in this movie are great. Above all his addition of Tamil song lyrics about the marriage, which is a masterpiece, reveals his great passion in music, poems and marriage. Finally, a poem written by himself for his wife is so touching. I feel this movie is the most precious gift that his wife can ever get.

E: It is so sharply cut with too many messages and opinions covered in short length.

St: The story is usual on the movie Virumandi covering analysis on all aspects of the movie and the content is comprehensive.

S: It is where the movie stands out than others, he has followed the same screenplay as that of Virumandi. First he points out all the aspects in a negative manner and when we are about to hate the movie, he gives a twist by the second version of review, which says the truth about the movie. The screenplay of virumandi is also same. The same incident is seen from two perspectives. A great experimentation in writing so far.

E: Though he could not make it slick and within the limits you forget all those by wondering his skills in penning such screenplays.

V: A Classic cinema, which is neglected by masses but worth watching at least once.

M:Lakshya Album

St: A straightforward analysis of the music album “Lakshya” with some music sense.

S: The screenplay is straight narrative unlike his reviews which will have a irrelevant prologue and then some wits etc., The screenplay is well woven and as it is the first movie on this music album, it covers all aspects of the album and gives us the full information. You can hear the songs of the album as you read it.

E: This is a very rare movie in which he has come up with a very fine cut.

V: A “3 Deewarein” from Rajkumarhirani but great nonetheless.

St: This is the first review on this subject and the content though not justifying the title it paved a way for others to boldly come with their views who were stammering to make a movie on this much controversial and a gossiping issue.

S: Yet again the screenplay wins, he tactfully didn’t mention the names instead he has classified some 5 worst activities of the writers here and has nicely bashed on them harshly though the review seems to be polite. It is like scolding someone with a smiling face. This movie became a trendsetter and any movie with this title is the most wanted and read here.

E: A great job done which made the movie dense with lot of opinions and no single frame in the movie is unnecessary.
