I love some reviews on MouthShut.com. I making list of my favourites.

Entertainment at it’s best – amjad_maruf (Amjad Maruf)

Amjad bhai does not like my reviews but I like his. He is very talented. Mashallah! I reproduce some lnes of his review on hit movie “Koi Mil Gaya”.

“With a blockbuster like Kaho Na Pyaar Hai behind it’s natural that the expectations from Rakesh Roshan’s Koi Mil.. Gaya will be sky high. The release of the movie was preceded by massive hype, which has become mandatory for a big banner movie. Even before the film was released the trade experts has declared it as a Hit. Then there are talks of record-breaking advance bookings. Theatre owners are boasting that shows are full up to Tuesday. Some even boasted of a full-house week in advance. It’s a different matter that when I saw the movie today (Saturday) (got tickets in black) at least 50 seats were vacant till the end of the show even though there was a houseful board outside the theatre. Even our PM was invited to watch the film and after seeing the film he said to Hrithik “ Aap bahut Bade ho gaye ho”. One does not know in what context he said this but the print and visual media quoted this sentence extensively in the publicity campaigns. But the debatable point is – Is Koi.. Mil Gaya worth all the hype? The answer is NO. But the movie is definitely good and watchable. But if one is expecting a classic forget it.”

That’s entertainment by crazyplaywright (Moid Askari)

Moid bhai may hate me and has written a very bad comment on my review on India. But I think he is good writer. I like his review on “Kal Ho Na Ho” *ing King Khan Shahrukh Khan. I reproduce some lines from his review.

“Shahrukh Khan excels as Aman. Watch him propose to Jiya, watch him read pages from Rohit’s diary, and watch him sing, dance, make merry and … finally … die. Truly, a knockout performance.”

5 MOST Humorous Reviews on MS - My List by kalil.rahman (Kalil Rahman)

Kalil mian is not active on site. I am sure member harass him also. This is the situation of minorities in India.

Next one is from everyone’s favorite Premjit . His quipping about Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon “A Disorienting, Mind-Corroding Nightmare” https://mouthshut.com/readreview/40573-1-rating-5.html is a laugh riot. He has made the systematic analogy of MPKDH with a lot of genre of movies. This has made me laugh so much that I have read it quite a few times. See, all the read by numbers are largely due to me.”

Unique film making style! By okornakov (Juliana Rehman)

I have also have seen “Frida” and have liked it. Therefore I like Juliana Rehman’s (is she wife of Kalil Rahman?) review on “Frida”.

“This film reminds me of a student art film. Julie Taymor integrates Frida Kahlo’s paintings into the story. She is trying to show how each painting was influenced by something in Frida’s life. However, that gets lost in the attempt at showcasing Frida and Diego’s relationship. I felt the womanizing between both of them was understood after the first time. I was hoping this film would shed some light about Frida’s feelings and the more political side of her. It further demonstrated to me that the Communist movement for these artists was their ’’cause’’. They talked about these books, which is not really communism put into practice. I also did not like how the film skips some years and does not tell us. This film was a labor of love for Salma Hayek, and I understand that. However, this film was poorly written and poorly acted by Ms. Hayek. Julie Taymor did and excellent job editing and incorporating the paintings visually. She just failed to meet the ultimate goal of truly showing us Frida Kahlo’s life. Not just her love life.”

Now for best review on MS.

Hindia by vengeance (It is me of course)

This is the best review on mouthhut.com.

“India is a land of:

Corrupt politicians

One Mr. Bhujbal is very much in news these days. And he is only an example. Only God knows how India has been able to function in spite of all corrupt politicians.''
