Radio is the best source of entertainment, and I have this special thing going for radio, infact I prefer it over Television anyday, because the kind of program which normally comes on Tv, it is a better choice and option to listen to radio instead, its more entertaining, more relaxing and you have no tension of switching channels.I have always loved Vivid bharti and now with the coming of Radio city, radio has become even a greater craze.
My five best programs on Radio are:
1.The RETRO SHOW(Radio city 91 FM):This is definitely one of the best program on Radio and one of my favourites.It comes every Sunday from 7PM to 9PM and in this program they play the old english classics, like songs of Bryan Adams, Bruce Sprigston, Dire Straits, Def Lepord, Phil colins, Eagles and a lot of other bands about whom I am not knowing at all and that is the reason I listen to this program.Since I have not heard much songs of these artist it gives me a chance to know more about their songs.On tv you hardly get a chance to listen to these old classics so why not tune into the radio to get a taste of them.This program is well presented by Priys Ganpathy.
2.REQUEST show by Jonjy, the madman with absolutely no plan, this program is also on radiocity 91 FM, Bangalore hit music station.This is very entertaining show, where people request for their favourite songs, english, hindi anything and then Jonjy plays your favourite music.Apart from this their are lot of other thing happening on the show, contests, quiz etc.There was recently one contest'The bathroom singing contest'where people had to sing a song and then the best one would be selected on people's voting and be given a prize, interesting na.There was also the hawa nikal gaye contest where people had to tell about their most embarrasing moments, it was really funny.This program comes from 2pm to 4:30 pm.And yes though I love this program I hate Jonjy because the way he speaks Hindi is pretty bad, how can a guy who has been living in India all his life cannot speak in hindi?
3.Top 8 AT 8:This also comes on Radiocity from 8PM to 9PM and is presented by Chatenya.In this program they play eight songs depending on some topic, like choregraphers, best dance numbers, best picturised songs or just take any actor, actress or singer and play their eight best songs.Its really a very enjoyable show.
4.Fauzi Bhaiyo ke liye(Vivid bharti):This has been a favourite of me and my sister from the time we have been listening to it.Fuzi bhaiyyo ke liya is a program for our Indian soldiers where songs are played of their choice.On Saturday their is a special show for them where a celebrity comes and pays a tribute to them and says good things about them and also play their favourite songs.I really love this program.
5.Chaayageet(Vividbharti): comes from 10PM to 10:30PM where songs are played on a topic like say zindagi, they will play all the good songs on zindagi and also say a few good things in between about that particular topic.The program is presented by different people on different days and all of them are really good.I make it a point not to miss this one.
These are only some of my favourite program on radio, since I am a radio addict I cannot list all of my favourites but if given a chance i'ld never miss this ones.Radio Zindabad.
