Names are useless. Profiles are everything in a cyber community.
Profiles are your descriptive images, your printable personalities and describe you the way YOU consider the best. Profile is your picture with words.
Ingredients that make a profile better
In my opinion it is not necessary that you have a good photo to prepare a good profile but you should have something that interests others.
Profile Qualities
Remember, profiles are neither your resume nor your bio-data. They are your cover letters. They define you, your interests, your personality type, your likes & dislikes, the trusted or distrusted circle you have, which category you fit in. There are some profiles that will make you feel like a lesser mortal; and please don’t be afraid of them. These profiles that speak at length about the contribution a particular member has made are very inspirational. They make you aware what qualities you should also have here in the community.
Profile Dinosaurs
There are several types of members on mouthshut the first are the most active clan of conquerors like most of our star writers are. They write, read, rate and comment reviews, form their trusted circles, and interact with other members very actively. I know a little star writer snehat (one year junior to my younger daughter Sanskriti), who is although not keeping a good health but has very impressive profile. Another stars I know are Cousin2, tech-writer, sachien,anuj_bhatnagar22, zuludancing,findkhushi etc. there is a galaxy of such mega-members and all of them are Profile Dinosaurs. They are wonderful contributors, outstanding reviewers and impartial commentators.
Take Time to Evolve
I have authored 41 non fiction best sellers for the most successful publishers of India, but when I joined mouthshut, I felt my achievements negligible as compared to the MS StarWriters. My first review gave me only SU rating, then I started reading and rating the MS SW and found that the secret of writing impressive profile was very simple: ‘Write, Read, Rateand Comment, Form your Trusted Circle, and Interact with other members very actively. Take time to evolve your cyber personality by effectively contributing towards MS community. Honestly explain your personality with your likings, dislikes and other required points very briefly, to let others decide if you belong to their world and that is the thing which make your profile interesting. Evolve gradually and build your profile step by step. Day by day.
