Well I must admit that I love shahrukh so much that I liked him in all his movies even when they were flop in boxoffice he still did not move a step down from where I see him...
Movies where I enjoyed his screen image and acting are all I guess but still I feel these 5 movies are special to me and him as a person too and have given him the place where he is now.
My personal 5 choices are :
*Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa : 1993
*Sunil belongs to a middle-class family, and is intent
in pursuing his career with a music group, despite of his dad's disapproval. Sunil is also in love with Anna but Anna does not really love him, but likes him as a
friend. Sunil is persistent, but instead Anna openly declares her love
for Chris. In order to impress his dad,
*Baazigar : 1993
*Ajay Sharma looks like another young man with big dreams in his eyes
... if only anyone knew how bold and how diabolical those dreams were .
Ajay's life is nothing but a constant desire for vengeance against
Madan Chopra , a wealthy industrialist who had betrayed Ajay's father
years ago and seized his business empire , leaving their family
penniless . Ajay assumes the identity of Vicky Malhotra and befriends
Chopra . Chopra's two daughters Priya and Seema are in love with Ajay .
Chak de India : 2007
*Chak De India is the story of a coach's fight of making his team, Team
India by overcoming their diverse backgrounds, by learning to use
everything that life hurls on them as a secret weapon. It's a story
about honesty, sincerity and integrity. A story to remind the nation of
its National sport.
The entire movie revolves around the Indian Hockey Team of girls and their coach Kabir Khan.
Swades : 2004
*Set in modern day India, Swades is a film that tackles the issues that
development throws up on a grass root level. It is to this India, which
is colorful, heterogeneous and complex that Mohan Bhargava (Shah Rukh
Khan), a bright young scientist working as a project manager in NASA,
returns to to find his childhood nanny. Mohan's simple
quest becomes the journey that every one of us goes through in search
of that metaphysical and elusive place called "home".
*Om Shanti Om: 2007
*This story is of Om and Shanti. His film started in 1977 and ended in
2007.Om was a junior artist in the 70s and Shanti was the superstar of
the 70s.Om was her biggest fan and Shanti was his biggest
inspiration.Om was madly in love and Shanti was waiting for love. Om
wanted to be a superstar and Shanti wanted to be a girl next door.Om
was ready to sacrifice all his dream for love and Shanti was ready to
sacrifice everything she had for love. Om felt betrayed in life and
Shanti felt betrayed in love.And then started the saga of Om Shanti Om . For some lovestories one life time isn't enough.
