We all know that Akshay Kumar's list of hit movies is getting bigger by one after one release and last year he had three hits & a blockbuster. Thus was named as "Hit Machine" by the film critics and trade analysts. And today he is considered as a superstar. A bankable star for making humongous money at the box office for every release. Every producer, director, production companies and studios are trying to sign him for their projects. No wonder Akki is on a roll and enjoying every bit of his stardom today. And it wouldn't be unfair to say this is the most deserved success for him after the hard work of 15 years.

As a die hard and a hardcore fan of Akshay Kumar I would like to present you'll my five best movies of Akshay Kumar:

  1. Waqt - Race Against Time - The movie was directed by Akshay's close friend Vipul Shah which also starred megastar Amitabh Bachchan as Akki's father and Priyanka Chopra as a wife. This comedy-drama is one of the best movie I've seen on father-son relationship. The chemistry between Akki and Amitji is just heartwarming. And undoubtedly this movie makes the audience cry, especially those who value the relationship more and one with the weak heart. I have watched this movie for like 20 times now and my mom just loves it to watch it over and over again. This is one is a true family drama with remarkable performances by Akshay, Amitabh, Priyanka, Shefali Shah, Boman Irani and the funniest Rajpal Yadav.

  2. Namsatey London - This one is again by Vipul Shah and Amitabh was to star in it, but unfortunately his health condition failed him to do it and instead Rishi Kapoor was signed. It had Katrina Kaif as a leading lady and for the first time she dubbed the movie in her own voice. This movie was a hit and no wonder why it had a great run at the box office. Akshay's performance was the highlight, whereas Katrina looked cutest and Rishi Kapoor was delight to watch. This romantic-drama-comedy had the some of the most emotional and funny scenes. My favorite scene is where Akki in defense of Katrina's insult delivers some awesome lines and later in the movie when he says to Katrina "Aakhir pati hi kaam aaya na".

  3. Sangharsh - This movie was an unofficial remake of the Hollywood movie'The Silence of Lambs', which disappointed me greatly. But Akshay's extraordinary performance along with Preity Zinta and the incredible Ashutosh Rana was a worth watch. Not to mention the fact that it is still Akshay's best ever performance. Though being a copy, it was still different in Bollywood. And Aman Chauhan's part was cupid and loveable. This movie also has some good song and Mujhe Raat Din was best amongst all.

  4. Mr. & Mrs Khiladi - Like we see Andaz Apna Apna an epic comedy movie ever, it wouldn't be wrong to say this one falls next to it along with Hera Pheri. Even if I watch over and over again, I can't get enough of it. The jokes are still funny and you can laugh every time you watch. This was a true David Dhawan directorial. Kadar Khan's performance was astounding and Johnny Lever's 2 minutes play was startling. Akki-Juhi shared great chemistry and the climax was just over the top. This will always remain my all time favorite comedy after Andaz Apna Apna.

  5. Khakee - I still couldn't believe it that this movie just fared average at the box office. The script was so original and different from those regular Hindi movies. Though Akshay wasn't the lead and dies just before the climax, it is no less a Akshay Kumar movie. I might have said it that Akki stole the show only if Ajay Devgan and Amitabh Bachchan had regular roles, but they were all incredible. But Akshay's role was a highlight and added humor to the story. He as a supporting cast was a perfect choice.

Other Akshay Kumar movies that I love watching again and again include Garam Masala, Jaanwar, Singh In King, Bhool Bhulaiya, Humko Deewana Kargaye, Hera Pheri, Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Bhagam Bhag, Dhadkan, Welcome, Sainik, Aflatoon, Aankhen and Jaan-e-mann.
