Ilove to read magazines, and read a lot of them.

.:My Choices For The Best Five:.

National Geographic:

I learn so much from this magazine. They have articles, about Countries, people, sea creatures and outer space. The photographs are the most beautiful, I have seen.

My son scuba dives, and when they have an article on the ocean, I get to see what he sees. I didn't know that it is prettier there than on land!

I read a story recently about the Loon. I found it interesting because that is the bird on the Canadian one dollar coin. The loon is different from all other birds, because their legs are inside their body, and all you see are their feet. That's why they wiggle and waddle, when they walk. The loon makes a strange sound, that most people don't like. Our First Nations people, believe it is crying. Why is it crying? For all the terrible things people to the earth and other people. By the loon has only two babies. Both parents take care of them. Before they can swim or fly, each parent, travels with a baby riding on it's back.

Time:

I have never written a review on Time Magazine. That's because my Time is not the same as your Time. The editorial, letters to the editor and a few articles, may be the same, but my Time focuses on Canada.

I read two news papers a day, so why to I buy Time? I find their articles are more in dept that any newspaper.

Gourmet Traveller:

I like this magazine because it is a combination of travelling and gourmet cooking. They pick an area of the World, and tell you about it, including the food. I get fat looking at the pictures.

When a picture of a recipe looks so beautiful, you mind says, 'this is to hard to make'! That may be true in other magazines, but not necessarily true in this one. It may only take you a few minutes longer, that it normally would.

National Geographic Traveller:

Like it's parent magazine, National Geographic, the photographs are fabulous. The articles on places to see are wonderful, and you want to drop the magazine, pack you bags, and leave on the next plane.

On the back page, they list the countries/cities that they have had articles, in that issue, and tell you the temperatures, for 12 months a year.

Vanity Fair:

I left my favourite for last! This magazine looks like it's a women’s magazine, but I know that men enjoy it. My husband can't wait until I'm finished reading it, so he can have it.

The best thing is the way they set up the articles. Most of them, you can read the entire article without seeing, 'continued on page 345'!

My favourite author is Dominick Dunne, who writes about famous people.

.:That's All Folks:.

If you have not read any of these magazines, I hope this review, has inspired you to read one or two of them.

Thank you for reading my review.
