For some, inspirational songs are patriotic ones while for others, they are those which celebrate the spirit of life. I for one, prefer to fall in the latter category.

During our course of busy

lives, We tend to forget that the life we are leading is a boon. And to remind ourselves what we are losing, just listen to these songs to get pumped, recharged, energised. I do it very often, almost daily. Would recommend to sing them along whenever possible and experience for the difference.

These are some of my kind of inspirational songs. And am pretty sure most of you might have listened to and likened them before.

Zindagi Pyaar Ki Do Chaar Ghadi Hoti Hain(ANARKALI)

No better voice than Hemnatda would have made the justice to this simple yet sweet song composed by Chitalkar than Hemant Kumar’s. Very contrasting lines but absolutely taru(true).

Zindagi ka Saath Nibhata Chala Gaya(HUM DONO)

This simple yet meaningful song by Rafi saab inspires you to take life easy. Rather than getting frustated with daily chores, try to make peace with Life and enjoy. The highlight line of the song is ’’Main Fikr ko Dhoowein Udatha Chala Gaya’’.

Zindagi Pyaar Ka Geet Hain(SOUTEN)

The only solo inspirational song by a female singer in my list. The song was so inspirational for me that while studying intermediate I used to wake up early to listen to this song on Chitralok(on radio). ’’Jiska Jitna Ho Aanchal Yahaan Par, Usko Saugaat Utni Milegi’’.

Zindagi Aa Raha Hoon Main(MASHAAL)

Oye Hoyee. If you have not yet heard about this song, do take time to listen to it. One helluva of a song. Any person in his/her prime youth has to like this gem of a song from the movie ’Mashaal’ where the Hero after having transformed is informing Zindagi that I will be always there to face challenges ahead

’’Kabhi Tujhko Gila Mujhse, Kabhi Mujhko Shikayath Hain

Magar Phir Bhi Mujhe Teri, Tujhe Meri Jaroorath Hain

Main Yeh Elaan Karta, Main Tujhse Pyaar Karta Hoon.’’

Zindagi Ke Safar Mein Guzar Jaate Hain(AAP KI KASAM)

Kishore Da’s voice to this evergreen song from the romantic movie ’Aap Ki Kasam’ reminds one the value of time lost(that could not be spent with your loved ones) and how costly one’s smallest mistakes could turn out to be.

Zindagi Kaisi Hain Paheli Haaye(ANAND)

One song that will wake you up to ponder the philosophy of Zindagi and meaning of Happiness in Life. On top of that Mannadey’s voice is simply touching.

Aye Zindagi Gale Lagale(SADMA)

Wonderfully composed by the Maestro and beautifully sung by Suresh Wadkar to the classical lyrics of Gulzar.

’’Humne Bahane sey, Chupke Zamane Se.

Palko Ke Parde Mein Ghar Bhar Liya

Tera Sahara Mila Gaya Hain Zindagi. ’’

Ik Raasta Hain Zindagi Jo Tham Gaye(KAALA PATHTHAR)

Another scintillating one from the bhari bharkam voice of Kishoreda Keep on going. ’’Jaate HUye Kadmon Sey, Aatey Huye Kadmon Sey

Bhari Rahegi Raahe Guzar, Jo Hum Gaye Tho Kuch Nahin.’’

Zindagi Zindagi Mere Ghar Aana Zindagi(DOORIYAN)

A rather slow but meaningful song. It is in this list only as a personal favourite.

Zindagi ki na tutey Ladi(KRANTI)

Can’t explain what I like about this song but whenever it is on, just cannot get away. May be it is too romantic, true and worth listening. like

’’Unn aakhon ka Hasna hi Kya, Jin Aakhon Mein Paani Na Hon

Woh Jawaani. Jawaani Nahin, Jiski Koi Kahani Na Ho’’

Tujhse Naaraz Nahin Zindagi Hairaan(MASOOM)

Can there be any other song to end the list with? If so, do comment and let me know which other songs of yours keep you inspiring.

@Sarvesh.
