Ok, let?s start with a dose of enlightenment?what does?INSPIRATION? mean all together? My friend? the dictionary- feeds me that anything that fills you with enthusiasm or with tremendous positive energy or stimulates certain emotions in you?is ideally called as inspiration.
Now who does not like a dash of such optimism?everyday?s meal? Only if we did not have to depend on anybody to serve it!
So God listened to us and invented a strange tablet that would always keep us smiling and coping through the most difficult times! The tablets, people, is a set of inspirational songs? their ingredients being crisp close-to-life lyrics blended beautifully with melody?something that we would never get tired of and would never crib against.
The set might differ for all, but the objective? The same. Finding traces of a different world in a scenario of monotony and depression.
So here I go?you might not feel the same way about the following?tablets?;) but do rate and comment!
1. DHAKKA LAGA BUKKA
Well laugh if you have to, but this one?s so energetic, fast and attitude dripping that you simply wouldn?t be able to resist it.once in a day at least! Yes, its from YUVA by Rehman, who has expertly let romanticism and heroism take the form of musical notes in this song. Mehboob has kept the lyrics simple but effective.
YUVA is one of my favourite movies anyway.and to top that.its got such tremendous songs!
'DHANAK NAYI HAI RAHI NAYE HAI.DAGAR NAYI HAI HUM BHI NAYE HAIN.
AUR JO HAIN KAL KE.WOH ATE JATE YAHAN WHAN BEECH MEIN YUN HI AYE NA RAAH KAATE NAA.HUM SE MILI NA JO BATEIN TOH MOOH BAND RAKHO NA.
WOW! isnt it?
2. LAKSHYA
?Roke tujhko aandhiyan?kya zameen kya asman payega jo lakshay hai tera?
This beautiful track from LAKSHYA penned by Javed Akhtar tells me exactly how life is and how to go about my ambitions. A rather strong song, it stays with me everytime I go wrong somewhere and feel a bit dejected. Yes, this is the kind of track just right for all time listening.?and fills you with a lot of positive?Kai?(right FENG SHUI lovers). The composition by Shankar.Ehsan.Loy is so, that its hummable even when you already are quite on the?up?! Evergreen is more like it!
3. RAAH PE REHTAY HAIN
Another evergreen track.by my favourite RD Burman?penned down by Gulzar, this song is one of a kind. this number from NAMKEEN is majorly patriotic with a sprinkle of the?slice of life? kind of an ambience. You have to listen to it to know why I like it. Seriously, the RD touch helps?;)

4.) YUN HI CHALA CHAL RAHI
It?s the latest craze right now?Rehman has done a great job over it. Another track by Javed Saab, this song from SWADES is apparently peppy and fun, but has a much deeper and philosophical touch to it. The way Kilash kher would croon.
AANSOO KI NADIYAN BHI HAI.KHUSHIYON KI BAGIYA BHI HAIN
RASTA SAB TERA TAKE BHAIYA.
It literally makes you cry! Especially when you are going through a tough time, want to be comferted as in.you are very special, people love you and everyone awaits you! Thats all one ver wants to hear anyway!
It just makes you realize so aptly that?there is so much more to the simplicity of life?. And there is?isn?t it?
5) DES MERE DES MERE
This one also inspires me to the T. I think ever since I had heard this LEGEND OF BHAGAT SINGH track by?well?AR Rehman again?I have been completely mesmerized. This has that haunting effect to it. It does something to you and you just cannot help but get all sentimental about your country! Yes?India does rule! And why shouldn?t it? With all those amazing people who have lived here and created history?why shouldn?t it?
Also, there are a hundred other tracks I love to hear when I need that'tablet' of inspiration.like ALLAH KE BANDE, TUJHSE NARAAZ NAHI ZINDAGI, AAJ MAIN UPAR ASMAN NEECHE, KAL HO NA HO, MAIN ZINDAGI KA SAATH NIBHATA CHALA GAYA,
