I usually like watching horror flicks during the weekend and all I can say is, I have seen some nail-biting, stomach turning horror movies both old and new!
THE AMITYVILLE HORROR: This is the movie to watch if you want to experience hair-rising, spine tingling sensations. What makes this flick so scary is the fact that it is based on a true story. A couple and their children move into a large house on the coast of Long Island, unaware of the gruesome family murders which took place in the house. When a spine tingling voice tells the priest to ''Get Out!'' The chills, thrills, and nail-biting begin. Enough said.
BRAM STOKER'S DRACULA: I like this horror flick because of the brilliant makeup of the actors. I've seen some dracula movies in my time, but I have to give this one the golden crown. This was indeed a very believable portrayal of who, what, and how I always thought dracula should appear and be.
THE EXORCIST: Seen it once when I was about 15 years old and I haven't been able to forget it yet. A legacy of a film for Linda Blair. Regardless of whether or not this movie has become the joke of comedy TV, it is still an all-time great horror classic. Horror at its best and scariest.
JEEPERS CREEPERS: A new horror flick. A movie that will send you hiding under the covers. My advice...DON'T WATCH IT ALONE! I did, and believe me when I say, I could not move. It took me nearly a month to get past the mind boggling thoughts and scenes of horror in this movie. The song by the same name as the title of the movie was once a favorite of mine, now, when I sing it, I find myself looking over my shoulder.
THIR13EN GHOSTS: Another new horror flick. I tell you, now I'm afraid to be alone anywhere in my house. I now get the feeling that someone is always standing beside me, only I can't see them. Do anyone know where I can get a pair of those glasses?
