Well, I see a lot of movies as some of you might know. My fave kinds are the action and the comedy ones. I have already written a review on my best 5 action movies. This one is going to be on my fave comedy means. 'Laughter is the Best Medicine and if you cant get enough of this medicine, I suggest you see the following movies which I am gonna tel you about. So I present you my list of the top 5 rib-ticklers.
1) There is Something About Mary - One of the funniest movies ever! This movie starred the gorgeous Cameroon Diaz and funny Ben Stiller along with Matt Dillon. In this movie Diaz is Stiller's high school Sweet-heart and he hires Dillon to find out where he is. But Dillon falls in love with Diaz and what follows is probably the funniest act ever in hollywood. In the movie, everyone loves Mary! Well you must have seen this movie and I am sure you will agree that it is one of the funiest movies of all time. By the way, I have written a review on this movie .
2) The Mask - One of the greatest comedy-hits of all time. Jim Carrey is at his funniest in this movie. Jim Carrey is your usual loser and a boring clerk at the banker until he finds a mask that changes his life. Once he wears that mask, he does all the things he wanted to do. Once again there is the gorgeous Cameroon Diaz in this movie. Jim Carrey was great and his dog Milo was real cool. The special effects were like crazy. One of my fave words from the movie is'* Smokinnnnnnnn *!
3) Scary Movie 1 and 2 - Absolutely dirty and funny! These are the words that describe this movie. This movie has spoofs of horror movies and box office hits. The first part spoofs on the latest movies like Matrix, Scream etc. The second part spoofs on old classic horror movies like Exorcist. Both are absolute laugh riots and may I add very gross and dirty. There are well . uh.'manly juices' all over the place and you know the usual dirty kind. Do watch this movie. I have written a review on Scary Movie 2.
4) American Pie - Was this movie funny or was this movie funny! Man after this movie, I am sure you will not look at an apple pie at the same way again. The pie scene in the movie was the funniest I have seen in my life, though it can't be described here. The story of this movie revolves around a group of guys who want to acheive the aim of every youths life - * Lose Their Virginity! *. My other fave scene in the movie is the Video Cam scene. Just see this movie and I am sure you will get stomach cramps due to all the laughing! Really waiting for the sequel!
5) Titanic - Well I know I am gonna get a lot of NR and SR rating due to this inclusion but what the truth of this matter is that I really found this movie funny! You know it was so typical of a hindi movie.Rich girl meets poor boy, bad guy fiance to rich girl, good poor guy likes girl and you have one talkative old lady and the result is you have 15 year old girls watching the movie 100 times a day. They could have made this movie on the tragedy and make it a all time classic but they turned into a soppy funny, love story!
Other honourable mentions are:- 1) Dumb and Dumber 2) Road Trip 3) Ace Ventura - Pet Detective 4) Austin Powers 5) Dr Doolittle. 6) Bowfinger So get those stomach muscles some exercise and watch these movies. Happy Laughing!
