I guess this emotion called love itself is described by so many people in so many ways that you wonder sometimes what this is all about. Before I start off on the actual review itself, let me put down some thoughts on the different facets of love.
[Forgive me for making the review a lengthy one as usual, but do have some patience and read on.]
Is it love -?
I just saw 2 teenagers sitting at a restaurant,
Holding their hands,
Staring into each others’ eyes,
Lost in their dreams like there is no tomorrow,
Oblivious to the world around them,
Someone just shook me and asked, “Hey, is this love?”
To which I said, “I wish I knew.”
As I walked further,
I saw a young woman
Who looked tired with hopelessness writ large on her face,
Dressed in rags and hardly able to cover herself,
Yet I saw her clutching her baby to her heart
And stroke her head gently and give her the sweetest smiles one could have ever seen.
Someone just shook me and asked, “Hey, is this love?”
To which I said, “I wish I knew.”
As I continued further,
I saw an elderly man standing at the bus station,
Looking lustfully at the girl who just passed by,
Someone just shook me and asked, “Hey, is this love?”
To which I said, “I wish I knew.”
As I went on my journey,
I just saw a soldier, bidding farewell to his loved ones
Ready to sacrifice his everything for his country.
Someone just shook me and asked, “Hey, is this love?”
To which I said, “I wish I knew.”
I will list my all-time favorite ones. Again, they are not listed in any particular order, so enjoy these lovely melodies and have a blast!
I guess the list of romantic songs will never end. What makes them special is their ability to transform you to a different world, to make you believe in this feeling called “love, ” and make you want to be loved.
