The language of love

Music to me goes hand in hand with being in love. Two lovers dancing or simply cuddling and listening to music. Or what greater thrill to have the one you love sing to you.

Love songs are written by people that have known love, good and bad. I prefer the happy love songs.

The first one that comes to mind is I love you because.

I love you because you understand me

every single thing I try to do

I love you for a hundred thousand reasons

but most of all I love you cus your you.

What better way to let a person know that you love them just the way they are and wouldn't change them for anything in the world?

The next song that comes to mind is by Tina McBride and it's called my baby loves me just the way I am.Another example of loving someone for who they are and the way they are. This is a really peppy tune and a feel good one just to listen to it.

I guess my third pick would be Sentimental ole you.

This goes: sentimental ole you

I love you

Just the way you are

sentimental ole you

I need you

like the night time needs the stars

your the kind of dreamer

that dreams big enough for two

whatever you do

don't change, sentimental ole you.

I think by now you are seeing a pattern with the songs I have chosen. All have the same meaning and to me this is a wonderful feeling to be able to be with someone and just be yourself and they love you no matter what you do.

Now for another side of love. I think of ebony eyes by the Everly brothers. This is a sad love song but a beautiful one. Part of it goes

On a weekend pass I wouldn't have had time

to get home and marry that baby of mine

so I went to the chaplain and he authorized

me to send for my ebony eyes.

My ebony eyes was coming to me

from out of the skies on flight 1203

in an hour or two I will whisper I do

to my beautiful ebony eyes.

This song gives me chills. He is in the service and wants to marry his sweetheart and her plane crashes on the way to him. It isn't one you want to sing to your sweetheart and it is tragic but has meaning for those that have suffered romantic tragedies.

Last but not least is a song called true love which is sung at many weddings love forever true which is the way love is supposed to be.
