Sagittarians are generally ‘bindaas’ people. The world is their playground and the universe their home. For them success is mandatory, friendship a compulsion, love eternal and music life. So if you want to kill a Sagittarian, the best option available is to take away from their life the combination of rhymes and scores. The effect would be instantaneous.
I am no Shakespeare, but yes I am truly a Sagittarian. Yet music inspires me equally but in a different way. I don’t write sonnets and plays but do all I can to use the inspiration effectively. Often I have wondered what if I was a musician. What kind of compositions would I compose? I guess it is not difficult to answer this one. Probably I would work wonders in creating music that would stir even the meekest of all souls, rouse even the most dejected, praise even the rejected and shake even the laziest. Yeah that’s the kind of music I like…the one, which makes you smile and rejoice even when there is no reason at all. The music that would force you to shake your booty in the middle of night not caring if the world is going mad or is it you.
I guess the kind of music one listens to partly reflects a person’s personality. Well that’s the kind of man I am—loud, chirpy and an enthusiast. Probably this is the reason that I prefer listening songs that have the capability to awaken and invigorate the body, mind and the soul.
Not many would disagree with me that music has magical powers. It can heal, empower and change the way one takes life. It is like a drop of water to a traveler lost in a desert, a breath of air for a person on the verge of drowning, a glimpse of the beloved to a desperate lover and so much more. Being an ardent music lover I always find myself surrounded and swimming in the vast ocean called –music.
Every day is a new day for me. The emotions are different. Sometimes I am charged while at other times I may be super-charged. The choice of music/songs thus keeps changing. But mostly I like songs loaded with passion(read emotions), or are brave and also the ones heavy on thought and enigma. There are lot many fav’s but here is a glimpse.
1.Here I am- Bryan Adams. This song grows on you because of umpteenth reasons. The lyrics and the music is really good. The video is equally adorable and gels marvelously with the theme. Rating-4/5.

2.I drove all night—Celine Dion.This is one song that will not only grow on you but also enchant and bewitch you. Celine looks absolutely magical in the black n white video. She is in total control and looks stunning with her voice. Whenever I tune in to this number I feel and urgent rush in my veins, the rush to break all barriers and be myself. Rating-4.5/5.
3.Simply the Best—Tina Turner. This song is simply the best. The video again is amazing. The song will certainly sweep you off your feet. A great track, it can be played while on a long drive and in company of your beloved, on a lonely night or simply with the friends. The beats, lyrics, music—everything is outstanding about this track. It starts like an appeal(a passionate one) but the crescendo gradually builds up and Tina breaks all the barriers of love belonging and music. A fabulous song. I can die for it. Rating -5/5.

4.Total eclipse of the heart—Bonnie Tyler.A sad but very powerful song. The emotions have been portrayed really well in here. It is a song which will make u want to fall in love and then experience heart-break. Rating-4/5.
5.I am a btch-Meredith Brooks.Everything rolled into one track. It is happy, lovable, proclaiming and a peppy number. This song actually rocks because of the wonderful combination of lyrics and music. Rating 3.5/5.

6.Nothing’s gonna stop us now—Starship.The track is not at all mellowed but extremely vocal. I often play and sing along this number. It is one of the best around. Rating-4/5.
7.Unbreak my heart—Toni Braxton.Oooh…. a marvelous and a mushy number. This is a heartbreak song and Toni has been very effective in communicating the emotions across.Rating 3.5/5
8.Sacrifice—Elton John. Elton definitely knows what it takes for a relationship to work. Probably this is why he sung this lovable track. Rating-4/5.
9.Take my breath away—Berlin.This particular track is from Top Gun(OST). The deep bass sound and the enigmatic voice lend this track an unknown charisma. Rating-4/5.
10.Its my life—Bon Jovi. A short but loud track. Its my life appears a typical teenage song but is more than that. It is a song about freedom and the need to break free. Fantastic number. Rating –4/5.
