Am I in love ???. Review on Five Best English Love Songs

No, no, no not me(hope my boyfriend(s) aint listening…). So after a lot of thinking I came up with this list of my favorite love songs…but am quite sure I missed out some good ones. Tell me something people, Do you fall in love, I mean is it that degrading?!

Anyway so here goes:

The song’s about obsessive love, every breath you take, every move you make, I’ll be watching you… Oh baby cant you see, you belong to me …Amazing song, a classic and all-time favorite of mine(hey but I don’t get all obsessive n possessive like that!)

Love this song by Wet Wet Wet, which goes like this, I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes…when love is all around you, come out and let it show…, maybe because its got this feel-good sentiment attached to it or maybe because its part of the original soundtrack of one of my favorite flicks, “four weddings and a funeral”. Great song anyways, and very much hummable.

Really good song, great vocals and good lyrics…so what you have is a love song.

Mama tells me I should have never…blah, blah, blah … look for a guy that surely deserves me, and I think you do… Love me, Love me, say that you love me…don’t want to fool me…pretend that you love me….so I cry and I die for you to…love me, …I don’t care about anything but you… That’s another bit of obsessive love for you, the best part of the song is that it sounds anything like a love song till you listen to what the song actually says.

Not one that will feature in your list, but its in my list! Dunno why I like this song though. It has this mysterious feel to it. And here we have a song which says each time you fall in love and break off, you say this is the last time this is gonna happen, till the time you fall again…and you would wish you could hold on to this really long. Crazy huh? But true I guess.

Nice song, grown up listening to this…so tend to like it even if I don’t like Elton John. The more you listen, the more you like it.

I love the way UB40 sounds, refreshingly different… Richard Marx did a cover for this song too but I like the one by UB40 better.

Many of you might just think, hey this is not a love song! Well, it’s about bonding, togetherness and all things sweet and feelings you can have for ‘friends’, I do believe that you first need to be friends with someone and then fall in love.

This classic is the first song that comes up to your mind when you think of love songs, irrespective of it being your favorite or not. Do I have to say anymore?

There are others who don’t fit in here like, stuff by Richard Marx and Boyzone, cant pick out one really, It must have been love by Roxette, More than words by Extreme, I said I loved you but I lied by Michel Bolton, Shakespeare in love by Lylah Kylif, She’s so high by Tal Bachman, etc. etc. etc. Robbie is still on a holiday so doesn’t figure on this list.
