Laughter Thyrapy in Comedy Movies

Here on Sunday I had gone to local cineplex in Lucknow to see Gol Mal .As per expectation it was on the best cards to feel people all around in the hall laughing.Though some what at some where it was over acting and unbelievable like collecting Rs 500/- per paper from students who were in Queue.The role of Paresh Rawal and kitty fame actress, I forgot her name was good.Specially the picturisation of the song at the background of 1950 black and white.


Again I remember another movie a year back I saw Munna Bhai MBBS and Dean Asthana's laughter thyrapy had added more and more comedy.


I do also remember when I was a child, though I am 54 now, my mom, aunt, and many ladies used to shed tears on the emotional scenes, In  that period only theatre and cinema or Nautanki were few entertainment mediums and people were more emotional and were reacting to what ever come to them, Life was also stressfree, actors were equally popular like Hero and Heroines and I think Gop , Bhagwan Dada, Mahmood and Kishore Kumar were leading audience to laugh and laught loudly with joyful tears. I do also remember one movie Padosan which I had seen at the age of 20, a full of comedy of Kishore Kumar vs Mahmood.


So I feel that people always welcome and enjoyed comedy in cinema and now a new wave of laughter/comedy movies is taking its place, which audience like most and gives a good business.


In Munna Bhai  MBBS, I do remember the words of Mr Bomi Irani, the most memorable charactor, always used to laugh loudly to shun down his anger. Ya it is really good and now in Yoga camps also people are learning laughing.


But dont u readers feel why people are learning laughing or prefering comedy movies, scenes, theatre? Becuz when in the morning people get up and say Good Morning to each other in a family, sit around dining table with a cup of tea and morning newspaper, the sugar converts to salt or souring agony mixed in the tea.Local News Papers are full of such news which territies people in the early morning. All bad worst news people see, but they cant shed away the paper, as it has become their need too.Because all neighbors read newspapers leading to off mood a bad start of the day. I also want to say Good Bye to my hawker but I am helpless, except to give only 4-5 minutes to just read headlines and throw away newspaper literally in disgust.


Can't we start our day with lots of humour, laughing and smiling on betterhalf and sharing jokes, laughing and to ask ing our children what happened on previous day,  in school college or in office.


In the evening I had made this a practice that we four members should have dinner and wait if some one is late en route, o that we may talk about day's happening, what good and bad happened and any latest developments.


So dear friends, time has come to change ourselves into an energetic, joyful, helpful, and hopeful persons. We cant change whats happening around in our society, but we can keep ourselves aloof and have to take best care of ourselves.
