Hello everyone.

Found this interesting topic on the website and since clothes are a weakness, I just had to write a review.

5 Lee Cooper

Different vendors in India distribute the clothing and shoes line. The shoes are from MB Footwear and the clothing is from Indus Clothing(?). All in the shoes are just brilliant. The steel toe shoes are going nowhere. I mean you can wear a shoe for years and a nice polish as good as new. The smart Casuals are also a subsidiary of MB footwear called ID. The Vampire series shoe by ID is absolutely amazing. Check out the link for the shoe I recently purchased.

I would give Lee Cooper 5 out of 5 for range and 4 out of 5 Looks and quality.

4) Dockers

The US brand has made an entry into the Indian market and deals mostly in formal and semi formal wear. The shirts by Dockers are absolutely brilliant. The French Linen collection(If you can get a hold of it) is avante Grade'.(Hope I got the spelling right). It does have a couple of really cool pants, especially the Never Iron series does feature some really hassle free pants.

I would give Dockers 3 out 5 for range and 5 out of 5 for quality and looks.

3) Gas

Okay now first things first. Gas I Italian and they purely import stuff into India. Result. a pair of jeans is worth 3-4k. Steep compared to the brands that are available. However let me just say the jeans are sublime. Fit you like a glove. Considering a fact that Italian men are tall so anyone who is on the taller side like me(I am 6' 2') would enjoy these jeans, however you get really annoyed when you get them dirty.:-)

I would give Gas 2 out 5 for Range(Mostly denims and jeans) 5 out of 5 for quality and looks

2) Louis Philippe.

The Upper Crest. need I say more.  The crest on the cuff makes a statement. I mean at least in India if you have a Louis Phillipe you HAVE to flaunt it no matter what. Even the humblest person will end up mentioning the shirts. Louis Phillipe makes pants as well but thier most popular wear is still the Shirts(Have to get me one of those)

I would give Louis Philippe 2 out of 5 for range and 5 out 5 for quality and looks

1) Levis

Well the name says it all. Its been around. My parents have been wearing them for eternity and now its my turn. Someday I guess my kids will also end up wearing a pair. What does one look for in clothes. Choice, Brand name and of course style. Levis has successfully encompassed generations a trendsetter in each generation. Not an easy task considering the competition it has had over the years. End result you have the Economy Jeans and the really exclusive RED LOOP. One pair for everyone should be their motto.
