1.SRIDEVIwithout a doubt is the greatest actress ever to appear in Indian Cinema, no one can do the variety of roles that sridevi has given in many movies. Sridevi atleast could give 20 different faces in 10 second, she is beyond doubt a legend. Sridevi is the original female commedian, Stephen spielgberg was suprised at this wonderful actress on how much resemblence she shares with Lucille Ball. Sridevi famous works and acclaimed works are Sadma, Nagina, Lamhe, Laadla in a negative role, Judaai, Gumraah, Khudah Gawah, Heer Ranja, Mr India, Kshana Kshanam, and she tried her hands in other genres which went unnoticed as these type of genre were not popular in Bollywood back then, like a Superwoman in Chandramuki.
Her best work and acting IMO is in Sadma, Lamhe, Khuda Gawah, Heer Ranjha, Laadla and Judaai. She has also suprised international critics back in 1996 in her critically acclaimed south Movie DEVARAGAN WHICH SHE RECEIVED BEST ACTRESS AWARD IN PRESTIGIOUSTORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. Suprisingly she has also received International Film Academy, USA.. and the award was across the movies around the world..what an honour.. also she has got NY Festival Best International Performance for Lamhe.. all truly international awards, which after this film she received many offers from French directors to star in one of their films. if that isn't enough to prove her talent, than what is. If Sridevi continued acting she would of won more awards internationally.
2.Rekha is one of the most talented actresses to feature in Indian cinema, she gives justice to most role she is given, weather it is her performance in umra jaan, underworld Don in Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, betrayed wife in Khoon Bari Maag, or and exorcist in bhoot, she she puts full justice.
3.Shabana Azmi is one of the leading actresses of parallel cinema. She is a film actress as well as a social activist, and her performances in films in a variety of genres have generally earned her praises and awards including five wins of National Film Award for Best Actress.
4.Manisha koirala has over the years has given many great performances, a natural beauty and her performances in 1942 Love story, Bombay, Khamoshi the musical and Dilse met with many critical best actress awards.
5.Rani Mukherji is a versatile actress. It is obvious that Rani has got it through her genetic influences to enact the roles that she has been given. And it’s a phenomenon that if Rani hadnt put loads of concentration and tremendous personal effert in her roles she play’s. she wouldnt have been where she is now! Though she had the introduction of into Bollywood through her first filmRaja Ki Ayegi Baraat, she was in the news with her wonderful performance in Ghulam and with the third movie Rani was in headlines again recieving The Best Supporting Actress award from Filmfare for her active and playful performance in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai thus enhancing herself in the Bollywood industry! Now she has come in with her film Black which was a superb movie ([b]Sadma[/b] inspiration) and she put a lot of effort into the role that she played. She is truly a wonderful actress and is a fan of a lot of people.
