The passion called action..... Review on Five Best Actresses of Hindi Movies

Very few people seem to realise the fact that acting is a skill that must be spontaneous and not practised a million times before actually getting it right....beauty is a gift indeed...but like most people I disagree that all beautiful people are good actors/actresses...

Hindi movies evolution from the yester years to 2001 has been a rough but exciting ride.the stars have simply sizzled on screen making movie watching worthwhile..in this review ill try to rate the actresses according to thier acting skills....

1.)Madhuri Dixit--miss nene is undoubtedly the best actress of the late nineties...in hum aapke hain kaun,she mesmerised the audience with her passionate acting and still managed to look like a diva!agreed that the film was a down to earth film,but im sure no actress of her time could quite have matched her in action,dance,emotions and watching her gave a sense of satisfaction that u get while seeing something perfect....other good films:dil to pagal hai,gajagamini(she was okay)....but of late her market is down

2.)Kajol----'dil ka deewana','desh ki dhadkan' etc etc....matchless in her acting skills,emotions on screen,decent choice of roles and an attitude thats worth catching.....kajol has proved her mettle and earned a place in the galaxy of stars...she sizzles next to shahrukh on the screen in 'ddlj'(my all time fav),kabhi kushi kabhi gham and kuch kuch hota hai...her role in gupt was simply superb and not many would have dared to accept it...when she had all factors working against her(her height,her complexion) she has managed to rise like a phoenix and continues to dominate hindi cinema....kudos to u kajol...

3.)tie-priety zinta and manisha koirala:

'pretty' priety has a good head over her cool shoulders for her choice of films speaks for itself....as a new comer in dil se directed by manirathnam,she even manages to outshine the experienced manisha koirala and superstar shahrukh khan..following this soldier was cool,mission kashmir and dil chahta hai had her at her best...kya kehnaa got raving reviews and made her popular as she dared to accept a project rejected by many others and her acting to put it in a single word was 'heavenly'....a person to watch out for.......

manishas role in dil se and 1942 a lovbe story are commendable..of late she is choosing bad films,but probably givena chance she can really do well.....

4.)TIE-aishwarya rai,mahima choudry and juhi chawla:

i make an exception to my earlier statement hat beautiful girls are not good actressses....aishwraya rai,the angel of india,a princess in her own right,miss world 1994 and a faboulous actress....in jeans I watched 'her' and not her action...but she began to get better,her best so far is in

humk dil de chukke sanam where she simply sizzles on screen....

mahimas axction in pardes has got her the reputation of being a perfectionist,a natural actress and a talented star..if only she had been more understanding towards subash gahi!!given good roles she can really make it work!!

juhis action can please everyone from kids to adults..she has a childishness thats crafted an image a talented yet different star...phir be dil hain hindustani,one two ka four and a few old fims with aamir are woth mentioning...

5.)sorry,tie again-the kapoor sisters(karishma and kareena):

karishma,started off badly even with her fathers influence,but gradually learned that acting is a skill that she had natirally inherited and hence began an interesting career with films like 'raja hindustani','dil to pagal hai',etc...of late her little sister kareena is more in the news(more because she showed a little more than required in asoka and the emporer crashed in the box office)...a spontaneous actress with immense potential...she was okay in k3g and asoka....she must give up the 'look good formula witha strange english accent' and concentrate more on her action....will she do it...only time will tell....

well that concludes my list of good actresses,of course nothing is perfect...and so my list would have left out a lot of eligible actresses..also these are recent compared to stars like hemamalini who ruled the tinsel world quite some time ago...neway,comments,suggetions are most welcome..feel free to add ur comments.
