Great combo. Review on Five Best Actors of Hindi Movies

This is my very first time writing a review so I hope I can count on your patience and encouragement.  I also hope I have the correct category , if not please let me know how to fix it.  Thanks.

I have often read and discussed with friends the hot chemistry certain stars share but it has always been hero-heroine chemistry.  I wanted to write today about the chemistry certain hero-hero or heroine-heroine share on screen too.  So here is a list of FIVE  of the great actor combos in hindi movies.  A sidebar here --  I personally don't like a couple of the actors mentioned here but they have set the screen on fire so I have included them in this list.

NO. 5

KADAR KHAN AND SHAKTI KAPOOR

I absolutely can't stand this pair of actors, alone or together, but they gave a number of successful films some years back ( in the eighties ) and gave some bigger stars a run for their money.

BAAP NUMBRI BETA DUS NUMBRI was the proof of their popularity and chemistry on the screen.

The movie that followed UMAR PACHPAN KI DIL BACHPAN KA flopped miserably though.

AANKHEN, HERO NO. 1, CHAALBAAZ , ANKHIYON SE GOLI MARE, COOLIE NO. 1, DARIYADIL, DEEWANA MASTAANA, RAJA BABU, JUDWA, GERAFTAAR, are some of the good, bad  and ugly movies they have acted in together over the years.

No. 4

JACKIE SHROFF AND ANIL KAPOOR

RAM LAKHAN was their golden hit.

KARMA, PARINDA WERE OTHER SUCCESSES.  1942-A LOVE STORY, ANDAR BAHAR, LAJJA, TRIMURTI were some of the other movies they acted together in.

They had great chemistry and complemented each other great.

NO. 3

GURU DUTT AND JOHNY WALKER

Be it  serious movies like KAAGHAZ KE PHOOL  and  PYASA,  thrillers  like AAR PAAR and CID or romantic movie like CHAUDHVIn KA CHAAND or a comedy like MR and MRS 55   Both the actors shared screen space and a heart warming chemistry with each other.   They were fast friends and that probably helped in their performance.

No. 2

AMITABH BACHCHAN AND VINOD KHANNA

They were both fierce competitors and shared great screen presence with each having huge fan base.  It was a close race between the two for some time for the coveted No. 1 spot till Vinod Khanna went over to Rajneesh and become a sanyasi.

They were absolutely great together in PARVARISH, AMAR AKBAR ANTHONY, MUQADDAR KA SIKANDAR, HERA PHERI, KHOON PASINA.

BRING OUT THE DRUM ROLLS.

My favorite pair of actors ( all time favorite)

is AMITABH BACHCHAN-SHASHI KAPOOR

They thrilled me in Deewar and from then on it was just great chemistry between the two real life friends on screen too.

Look at the hits they have together---ROTI KAPDA AUR MAKAN, SUHAAG, KALA PATTHAR, KABHI KABHI, SILSILA, NAMAK HALAL, TRISHUL AND THE LIST GOES ON.

NOTABLE MENTIONS

If I had more time I probably would have included Amitabh-Rishi Kapoor ( lambu-tingu of the film industry), akshay kumar-paresh rawal, amitabh- sanjeev kumar, in the review.

SIDEBAR

I may have to revise my review in a couple of months if the chemistry, real life father-son Amitabh and Abhishek showed in Sarkar and Bunty aur Babli  burns even more screen.
