Even a thought of creating a list of Just 05 Actors who were/are the best we have in Indian industry is a living in a fools paradise.
Iam a movie buff like crores of Indian bretherns. Still iam totally dumbfounded how to narrow my list to just 5 Actors. What shall be the parameters.

Well if we keep the parameter to Just sheer talent then I do believe following five would have been in everyone's top 10. I like them more thus they are in my Top 05
*Balraj Shahni
The best actor on Indian Screen ever , the lateral movement of his body language to his deep baritone to his natural acting prowess he scores on the top of this Grid. Do bheega zameen is one of the rare master piece of indian Cinema where he makes u feel the agont of a farmless man migrated to the Big City. What a portrayl of a father who wana make his son happy. Seema is another movie along with Kabuliwala which makes him the numero Uno in my eyes.
*Amitabh Bachhan
*Books have been written on this Greates Star Actor of all the generations. The only Actor who not just an actor but is something of an Enigma to all of us. His sheer star presence , His market dominance in 1980's & his aura all makes him the best we ever had. Lavaris to mukaddar ka sikandar, Sholay to Namak Halal, Anand to Mili, Chupke Chupke to Bgahban he rocks every where. His sheer presence on screen is just a Magic. Hope this magic keeps us spell boundeed with performances like "Black".
*Sanjeev Kumar
*Sanjeev Kumar was a true heir to the legacy of Balrah Shahni. His screen presence was so underplayed that you feel like him, he was one of the rare actor who can make you laugh &cry with in one scene by just face expressions. Sanjeev kumar was on Zenith of his acting prowess in Gulzar's "Koshish". A sincere & heart breaking portrayl of what a natural acting is all about. He was one of the most natural actor who ever graced Indian Cinema.
Kamal Hasan
One of the rare actor who never had a bad performance ever on the indian screen. Doyen of Indian regional cinema. Right from Appu Raja to HeyRam he have given Gems like Saagar, Ek Duje Ke Liye, Sadma & endless Tamil Movies which we North Indians never ever able to see. From all what I had sen him on screen for me he is the best ever South Indian Actor who leave an impact on Indian Movies.
*Ajay Devgan
*May be the only surprise choice for all of us. Ajay never was an Actor leave aside the notion of a natural actor he was just a wooden actor in his starting movies. But at present he is one of the most versatile actor we have. Definately the most improved one. His performance in "Zakham"was just out of the world. He matured a lot in "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam"& took the whole movie under the feet of Salman & Aishwarya on the might of his acting prowess. His best performance till date for me was in "Apaharan"where he was pitted against the compettion like Nana Patekar(My another Hot Favourite) his transformation is worth a applause & I definately feels he deserve to be in my list 05 most awesome actors.
