Does looks matter? A lot in bollywood at least. Here is an actor who proved that looks don’t matter, to be successful WORLD-WIDE. Hailed by many as worlds best actor, he is another of the actors who have excelled in both mainstream and parallel(art) cinema, with great comfort. He started with chchotta-motta roles to a star with “Ardh Satya”. He plays villain or hero or a comic or character-role with great ease and emancipation. What else would earn an indian actor hollywood belt, with just acting to his credit and nothing else.

Naseeruddin Shah:
Another great actor who has made it to the glitterati of Hollywood, albeit acting in a box office bomb. He was unequivocally good in ''The league of extraordinary gentlemen''. A product of the NSD, Shah needs introduction current days audeinces (due to the state of affairs of the bollywood). An actor who has won 3 national awards, Shah has done wonderfully in both art films and mainstream films. He is a pet of Benegal and was a hit in commercial movies. He is a great one in all sorts of movies. Name a role Hero, Villain, Supporting cast, comedian, he has done it with great ease.

Guru Dutt Padukone was a great actor and director. His best ones are ''Baazi'', ''Aar Paar'', ''Mr. & Mrs 55, ’’Pyaasa'', and ''Kaagaz ke Phool’’ When he committed suicide, India lost a great icon and an actor.
Dilip Kumar:
Yusuf Khan bhai was a great actor who made debut with Jwar Bhata.
