Well, this movie is based on the novel – Great Expectations written by Charles Dickens and features Tabu, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in leading roles. Earlier veteran actor Rekha was cast to essay the role of Miss Havisham / Begum Hazrat, however she left, shooting for the movie for a couple of days.
Tabu who stepped in as Begum Hazrat has indeed done a splendid job and if you have checked the trailer then you will notice that her performance is quite impressive.
