For all those who are planning to avail services from fitness planet please do a ground check on the skill set they have.
I am from Kolkata originally, and had been posted in Siliguri for a period of 2 years. During my posting there in Siliguri I planned to get a hair straightening done, I have get my hair chemically straightened every year, been almost 5 times now.
Siliguri being a small city and me being new to the town I opted for "Fitness Planet" as the parlor was on strategic location, and appeared good. But how was I to know that they only have interiors to flaunt and no skill set,
After getting my hair bonded and ironed and after a passage of 3 days when I went to get my hair shampooed we(the parlor people and me) noticed the hair had not exactly straightened.
So they tried treating it with some mild dose again and a hair mask, but to no avail.
When I got my hair straightened it was New years eve, and then right after that me and my spouse's farewell party and then we were leaving for our next posting in Delhi.
I told so to the hairdressers back their in parlor, they told me not to tie my hair for one month, and eventually it will get straighter by each passing day. With all the effort I practiced the same, as my money and hair both were at stake, In one month I noticed my hair getting oilier every second day I shampooed them, moreover there was no sign of them getting any straighter. In fact it was way more wavier after taking the treatment in Fitness Planet, Siliguri
So I called up the salon for a refund, to which they point blank refused and even refused to the fact that I had got hair straightening done a month back, instead they told me I had got it done 4 months back, when I said I can procure the bank statement as you had swiped my card, so they stopped taking my calls or coming over the phone.
I have never seen such poor skill set manpower in any parlor and such behavior and in-cooperation. So I strongly suggest to all you people please look for better options, even a small parlor operating in 200 sq feet must be better than them!
And a note for people of "Fitness Planet, Siliguri" with this attitude or services you won't be able to survive in the customer centric market for very long.
Make sure the guest feels like coming back to your place the next time. Genuinely ask him to visit your place when he/she is back next time.
