Incompetent and cheating First and Second.com

I would like to caution all book lovers against placing orders in First and Second.com. They are having large number of titles for sale. But they are not honoring their commitments. I placed an order for three books in July, 2003 but yet to receive the same. My number of emails elicit no response. Initially they promised me to deliver the same within 22 working days. But after receiving my payments, they forgot the order. I can’t understand how this cheating website is allowed to function like this. I could not even know about the exact status of my order except a simple sentence that my order is under processing. People who is making living like First and Second.Com proprietors may very well can choose other oldest professions available and can make more money. I lost around Rs2500 by placing orders with them. In my life I was never cheated like this. I am contemplating action against them. I request the help of readers having experience in consumer court and legal issues involved.
