I purchased a Hyundai Elentra CRDI from First Choice Goregoan Mumbai.
Vehicle is sold in a hush hush manner to me so that I do not come to know of the problems in the vehicle.
Following are the issues the vehicle has
Suspension both front and rear are worn out, vehicle is sold in a methodology that I am not able to notice, what is cleverly done is vehicle have different tyre sizes in front and rear and a combination is used, so that bumps are not felt while testing. When I drove the vehicle to my home from First Choice, I noticed that the vehicle is getting hit at small ditches, so I have taken the vehicle to Hyundai same day and Hyundai told that suspension is worn out and it will cost Rs 60 k to repair front and rear suspension and they told me that vehicle has different sizes of tyres, which are placed in such a manner that the bumps are reduced, I asked them to change the tyres, so that similar size tyres are placed in front and rear and the output was that suspension has started hitting every time. So as per game plan the First Choice has been able to sold a worn-out vehicle to me. When I complained, they told I have to visit them for the showing the problem, when I visited them and they understood that there cheating is known to me, so they said we have never given a warranty to the vehicle.
Few important points to be noted are
i) First Choice claims they perform some 130 checks, few checks which I asked them and they have not performed are
Basic Check like allignment and wheel balancing of the vehicle is not done, because alignment of this vehicle is not possible as suspension is gone and tyres are of different sizes
Second is a car comes with standard size tyres, whereas the vehicle has two different sizes of tyres, which means a thumb rule test is not done or done and manipulated for sale
ii) Vehicle have a whole lot of smaller issues which should have been covered in 130 checks, which is in realty an eye wash and nothing else
iii) Trust with which a customer walks in and walks out actually is not valued by the First Choice and very soon they will not have customers which currently flowing into them.
iv) Sad way of cheating for a product where the sales and service teams have corroborated for a fraud
Advice
Pls do not trust, check thru a trustworthy mechanic, as the moment you take delivery of the vehicle First Choice is obsolved of the responsibility.
Pls do not trust the name, do your due diligence.
First Choice is out to cheat, so please be carefull.
