Story:

Looks like I slightly goofed up on this.I havent said anything about the plot.

here it goes

Mitch McDeere and wife Abby ( described as a bomb by the author ) are just out of college ( school as described by the americans ).Mitch is an exceptional law grad and has quite a few job offers for 3 different law firms. But something makes him go to the meeting with a small memphis based firm

He's rather impressed by the monetary figures they throw at him and also the offer of a BMW hooks him.

He decides to join the Firm and then it starts..The initial few chapters are about how he starts enjoying life when he moves to memphis.

He slowly starts getting suspicious of the firm when he finds tha 2 of his colleagues are dead and his suspicions deepen further when he's approached by the FBI to expose the firm which is a front for Mafia money laundering operations.

He decides to expose the firm but in his own way rathen than the FBI.What makes his task tougher is that the Firm starts suspecting him for trying to work with the FBI.

I thinks thats good enuff and read teh book to know further.

I read this book in one go..this is John Grisham at his best along with Time to a kill. the client and pelican brief..I have been rather disappointed with his later offerings..

The story is pretty slow at the start but picks up pace pretty fast..I especially love the way McDeere and his wife get slowly hooked onto good life offered by the firm ..they have very lil clue on whats coming...as they say nothing in life is for free..I especially loved the part where Mitch gives into his conscience and starts ferreting around to find the truth..the end is great when he teams up with abby and ray and outsmarts the firm

fantastic read
