Terrible customer service. Finnair does not provide the customer with adequate information. I had to check a second bag on an intercontinental flight. Although it is claimed by Finnair that a second bag can be purchased and paid for online at a 30% discount, it is not allowed for multiple-carrier flights.
It is allowed to purchase a second bag, but only at full cost. I did read that the U.S. is an exception, but my customer service representatives were unable to given me proper answers as to why and how. I was told different facts each time. Likewise, the plane was uncomfortable, and the attendants scornful of the travellers.The rest of the service was average and to be expected of any airline.
I will not be flying Finnair again.
