Review : Movies geared for children these days are scary. I often do not venture to a theatre with my girls for this reason. You never know what to expect. As a mother of two young daughters, 8 and 5 it is a challenge to find a child's movie that is really for children. So often in this age of raising children in this MTV, VH1, BET generation a child no longer seems like a child. It is now normal for television, music and movies geared to children to contain adult situations.
You now have young teens in full blown relationships and cursing like sailors. Not Nemo. This is clean wholesome fun for the whole family! Finally a movie that I was not too embarrass to watch as an adult. Dory, one of the main charactors has short term memory. Her character is hilarious. She can not remember Nemo's name for the life of her. She once refers to him as ''Elmo''. This movie brought tears to my eyes as well as my husbands. Though he denies it. It has been watched so often by my daughters they recite it like a book report.
If you purchase the DVD form of this movie as we did you'll find it very educational. In full detail it tells of the cast and how this movie was made. My daughters enjoyed this as well. Im no ''Ebert'', but it definetly gets 2 thumbs up!
