Cheating…Cheating….Aaj ki taaza khabar....Ken Ghosh ne paisey khilaye!!! There was so much of ruckus made by political parties and social activists’ for LEELA and EK CHOTI SI LOVE STORY. But, when 14 years old Horlicks guy is doing Nazar Nazar… with 40 years Doll…no one is raising and eyebrow!!! WHY..WHY..Aakhir Kyuuun…

His name should have been rather Shaheed Kapur, the way he wants to Mar Mitoonga.. for Bebo Doll.
Kareena Kapoor : Neha – Aunty…Aunty…
When I saw her…I jumped from my seat.. arreee Babita same back to Bollywood. Soon I realized, its not Mommy dear.. but still our Bebo only.. who has transformed from Doll to Dhol… It seems that Ken Ghosh forgot to tell her that its not a horror movie. Coz her make-up was ditto that of Bhootni of WHAT LIES BENEATH. My 5 yr old cousin started crying when she came on screen…Not kidding yaar..Sachchiii !!!
Kim Sharma: Sonia – Mohabbatein hangover
Poor gal is still so obsessed with word STYOOOPIDD (stupid) that she has uttered it 97 times since Mohabbatein. She is just waiting for 1 more movie to make the century. Ken Ghosh also borrowed her Mohabbatein – micro mini from Yash Raj films.
Fardeen Khan: Vikram – Aaj ka Gundaraj
Fardeen is working verry hard…and with full dedication. Ken told him, Bhaiyaa Ajnabee ka Akshay wala role hai. So, very sincerely he aped Karate-Taekwondo- Kunfu- Schejwan-Hakka-Manchow of Action Kumar. He also performed steamy scenes with DJ Dhol with same conviction.
Akhilendra Mishra: Yakku.. Kroor Singh
He is a brilliant actor and performed role of Mumbai ka Don very well. His past performance as Chandrashekhar Azaad in Ajay Devgan’s Bhagat Singh was also Kabil-e-tareef.
For God sake.. there were no Maas n Babujis of ne body for make it worse.
STORY
Movie starts with (Shahid) Horlicks dude riding his Mogli-the wonder bike. He suddenly catches a glimpse of DJ Dhol (Kareena). As he wasn’t wearing his specs..he takes her for Barbie Doll and goes FIDA over her and comes song # 1.
Fatafat.. he reaches home and starts thinking bout her.. lo comes song #2. Then he rush for his dance classes and starts dreaming…zooooom comes song #3.
Ken is such a brilliant director that average people like us can’t even understand him. He knows that no hindi movie can go without songs , also songs tend to break the flow..the rhythm.. and the bullshit of movie. So, lets finish all the songs first.. then movie can proceed non-stop. Simply Superb!!!
Ya.. coming back to story… Horlicks guy orders 3 bouquets of Sunflower for DJ Dhol from https://baazee.com. But, DJ Dhol doesn’t appreciate his efforts. So, horlicks guys decides to get Shaheed. He takes lots of sleeping pills with his horlicks and reaches ICU. Without making the story drag..DJ Dhol also gets FIDA over him.. vroooom comes song #4
DJ Dhol asks horlicks guy to get Rs 6 crore for her, as she needs to repay what her Pa has borrowed from underworld. Horlicks guy goes Vroooom Vroooom on his mogli-the wonderbike to Standered Chartered bank. Security guards out there were super strong courtesy Colgate/Pepsodent. So, he drops and the idea…and decides to loot Vikram (Fardeen). Vikram being reincarnation of Akshay kumar..makes chutney of horlicks guy.
But, Vikram decides to give him money on a condition. Horlicks guy has to take responsibility of internet theft , what Vikram did. Rs 500 Crore were stolen from Yakku, Kroor singhs account.
Later, Horlicks guy realize that he has been duped, ditched and dumped. He keeps coming back to Vikram n DJ Dhol’s life and keeps haunting them.
POST MORTEM
As you all must have realized by now.. there is nothing new in movie. Plot is taken from AJNABEE. First half of movie is quite a bore, but it catches pace post-interval after entry of Fardeen Khan.
Shahid Kapur has developed good biceps.. also dances well but still looks too kiddish when he rides his mogli-the wonderbike. There was no role for Kim Sharma in first half, she could have been easily striked off from the movie. A small cameo in second half would have been sufficient.
Story demands Kareena to act as psyched up female. I don’t know why she acted like Urmila in BHOOT. Kareena’s hairs ..dark circles under eyes..facial expressions all qualified for a Bhootani. Director fails to understand difference between “Psycho” and “Psyched up” .
There is tremendous difference in quality between boring 1st half and thrilling 2nd half. This movie could have been made much more interesting with some small changes. Story in first half could have been made a little different from Ajnabee. Shahid Kapur’s acting and looks could have been polished to give him a mature look. Kareena’s make-up could have been made more glamorous. Songs were too cluttered, they could have been spaced at regular interval or removed. Except Nazar Nazar..all the songs were boring.
2nd half of the movie was really good enough. Especially, last 15 min of movie were simply superb. There is so much action packed in that 15 min power capsule that you’ll get thrilled. But, unfortunately.. its not sufficient to make the overall movie interesting.
I really feel bad for Ken Ghosh, what a mess he made in 1st half. I’ll suggest GO for it, its worth watching once. Don’t have high expectations from it.. but it’s much better than current series of flops.
