I brought 2001 model of fiat uno 1.7D, 2 years back. I bought it for 63000 rupees for the purpose of learning driving. Learning driving in this car was so easy. My earlier plan was to sell it after learning driving. But, I could not sell it because it got a special place in my heart. It is so comfortable to drive, looks small but lot of space inside-5 can travel easily .
Great pickup-Better than many petrol cars. Low maintenance-Has not faced any major issues till now. Great mileage - About 25Km/litre with out Ac. Great body-Made of thick sheet-You are safe inside. For me, it may not appear great. But serves me pretty well. A car in the price of a bike. Love it.
But one of the problem about this car is its cc. It has 1697cc. Due to this the third party insurance of this car is around 10000 rupees per year. It is a real waste of money.
