I got my palio stile just a few days back and I am very happy for possessing such a fantastic car. I fell for the car the moment I saw it at the dealer showroom. Although, I was skeptical about its pick up and service reliability, I decided that this was the car i should own.
The plusses are far more than a couple of minuses. Like mentioned in one of the other reviews, this car is all automatic and electronically operated. Since I own the SLX model, I have all power windows, demister, rear windscreen wiper, steel and grey dashboard, child lock, internal adjustments for rear view mirrors and such features. There is lavish and rich sense in the interiors and the exterior design of course is gorgeous with the car matching Hyundai Getz in length. European styling is definitely distinct and liberal.
I can go on and on about this car and particularly the alpine green color I got. Not just because the color is beautiful but it created a story of sorts! Actually it took good 2 months for the company to deliver this particular model to me!!! I was frustrated because of the delay. Moreover, I must mention here that the dealer - Pandit Auto, Pune turned out to be a big disappointment. Pandit's service that I experienced was really pathetic as they kept giving me false commitments of delivery and never really delivered in that and even more pathetic is their customer service. The way they dealt with me was more annoying than the delay itself.
The worst part is that even TATA people were no different as they seemed to be least bothered about the customer. It was a really bad experience as I had to literally fight to get a commitment and compensation from them. Ultimately, when Pandit failed to make delivery on their 5th or 6th commitment, I moved on to the other dealer in Pune- B U Bhandari and I must say that these guys are pleasure to deal with.
I am still settling scores with Pandit and TATA for compensation and funds transfer.
The car has nevertheless washed away most of the bitterness I had. It is some people who are spoiling the name but otherwise....you know I will go on!
