Palio Stile - The real car. Review on Fiat Palio Stile

I got my Palio Stile 1.1 delivered last week. Color - Magnesium Grey. Fantastic car. I got the SLE model for 3.8L on road. The space is great. Actually this is a big car and it feels like a sedan. The Power steering is very comfy at slow speeds and once you start cruising you can feel the rock solid car. This is built like a tank. Very sturdy. The double barrel head lamps apart from looking great, provides for a clear vision and hassle free driving at night. The car commands great respect on road and it has exclusivity too unlike the ubiquitous swift. The bumps are swallowed by the car, you don't feel them.

The Car (1.1) is not at all under powered. It is very zippy and you can easily maneuver and maintain your speeds in city traffic. You don't feel pressured at all. The AC cools swiftly. The interior design is also very pleasing. The gear shift is like GOD. This is the best gear shiifts car that I have driven. It's precise and the throw is short. Comes with Hydraulic clutch, hence can expect the same behavior even when it gets old. The cabin is quiet. I feel like driving a Skoda (though I haven't driven one) :).

Basically what I feel is that this car is equipped with top notch engineering. That's the advantage of owning a company like Ferrari. Some of that R&D gets percolated here too. As a package this is great. For those who think that 1.1 is under-powered can opt for 1.6.
