It finally happened. I came to a point where I had to choose for my new car from various available options in the market. So the research started and mouthshut was the first obvious choice. But by the time I had to make the decison there was no review on Fiat Stile 1.1.
So I started all by myself and prepared the list which had the points I was looking for a new car.
Within my budget-4 lacs
Should look BIG

Mileage
Now we all know that today choices are many. The fact is everybody makes a good car. There is practically no manufacturer who will introduce an outdated model expecially in India, the most happening market for small cars in the world.
When I narrowed down my choice to Stile than every body said that I have gone crazy. Some said, Why choose a car which does not have a resale value.do we buy cars to sell..;Fiat -is this company still selling in India.they have opened a new plant near Pune service will be an issue.giving 3 years warranty It is a big risk.life is a risk and so on.
Than I finally bought my Stile 1.1 SLX(Ozone Blue). But honestky if I had budget of 5 lacs than nothing to beat Stile 1.6 sports.
My earlier car was Matiz. when I had bought this car I had similar reactions. Today after 5 years of driving Matiz.I must say it was a wonderful decision. Had it been a Suzuki or Hyundai.I would have not driven the car for 170, 000. II still drive this car and its drive is still the best.
My point wise justification for Stile 1.1 SLX.
(Everybody should list down their requirments for the new purchase. Mine were.)
- within my budget.4 lacs
for car costing 4 lacs and having Power windows, Power steering, Tubless Tyre, Body coloured bumpers, 260 boot space, great suspension, 32 bit microprocessor, engine immobiliser, comfort sitting for 5.there is no car in the market which gives all this at 4 lacs.
- should look BIG.
Swift looks Big but is dangerously big at wrong places. Stile is longer than Swift and few inches smaller in width and made of steel not pressed steel. So no way one could say that you bought a small car. No way.
- Latest & Mileage
Fiat had introduced Fire engine. There is no doubt that they wanted to hit the right chord with potential indian customers.mileage. They have managed it. This car will finally give 14-15 in city after 3 services and 20 on highway.
The fact is that I have to drive this car in Delhi city. Speed limit is 50. And I can't afford to pay Rs.1000 fine to trafiic guys for over speed. Yes pick up is bit low but than I wanted other features where it satisfies my requirments.
"Who will not like to drive a Ferrari.but than where will one drive in Delhi."
This is the only buy for car budget of 4 lacs. Look no further.
And if like me you are among the first to buy this car.keep the nimbu mirche(nazar battu) wellplaced in the car.because this stunner definately makes people turn around and give a hard look.
