The FIAT PALIO is an excellent allround vehicle, well behaving in the city as well as on the high ways with superb build quality as well as reliability. It is a spacious, comfortable automobile with a reliable diesel motor under the hood. It is at par with some of the higher segment siblings in build quality & road manners which you do not find in many of the cars in this segment.
Though the main back lag with FIAT is its dealer network & service, the parent companies aspects in italy do seem to effect the buyers views on this automobile. The fuel consumption is a bit high, but is acceptable for a heavy & safe vehicle like the PALIO.
FIAT has to concentrate on new models with new powert trains & equip its dealers on par with other vendors. I think it would be very interesting & promising for FIAT when it brings in PUNTO & the new PALIO with JTD engines in to the indian market.
