Good Car....Pathetic & Cheating Dealers. Review on Fiat Linea

I got my Fiat Linea Dynamik Pack Diesel on 8/ July /09. My Feedback on the Car. Mileage first 2950 kms - 13.5 kms/litre. All A/C on at setting 2. Gurgaon/Delhi driven a mix of city & highway. you can say 50:50.

Leg Room - Good Comfort in Rear Seats - Good. Airconditioning in Rear Seats - Bad/Worse/Pathetic the rear vents are just a show they don't give any air to the rear seats.

Ride Comfort -Excellent the car is a beauty when it comes to Bad/Worse Roads. Road Grip & Maneurability - Excellent you never feel that you are loosing the control of the car at any speed(But have not really driven adequate kms above 100 km/hr to be really sure on this.)

Brakes - More than Excellent so far but still it is too new to comment on this part. Interiors - Spacious/Comfortable/Soothing. Music System: As such good but when you play it loud you can hear the speakers making dirty sound not really value for money.You would like to have more from 8 Lakh Value Car. They were amazing for the first few days but have gone bad after a month. Though it is blauphunkt system.

Cup Holders are badly designed cannot really use them with even McDonald Cups. Bottle Holder is too small to hold a one litre bottle. Gear Shift: Nice when it done forward but having trouble when I put it in reverse it fails to connect three-four times in 10 trials which I guess is a very high number.

Pick-up: Forget about this till the turbo kicks in. You feel a real Lag even in 2nd gear. Its pick up is less than Maruti 800. They will also overtake you at the start. But once the turbo kicks in it is pretty decent. If you are buying a Family Vehicle this should not matter as there are too many positives on mileage and comfort and you are anyway going to drive in City where there is hardly room for racing.This is truly " Slow and Steady Wins the Race Car"

I would give negative marks on this. Tata dealers are good at selling Nano range of cars. They are not the best of guys when it comes to high value cars.

1. They don't treat you as a priority.

   
   




2. Your Booking amount does not mean you will ge the car booked for you. They will sell that car and make additional money if they get a chance. It does not assure you the price you have booked at. It does not assure you the discount/any offer available that day.

   
   




3. They will Lie on the delivery date.

   
   




4. You have to immensely follow up to get delivery

   
   




5. Taking delivery is a 5-8 hour Ordeal depending upon no of cars he is supposed to deliver. If you are the only guy taking delivery then 5 hours

   
   




6. If you want a Bill they will say sir come tomorrow to collect it.

   
   




7. Worst is the car is not even cleaned properly at the time of delivery.

   
   




8. PDI (Pre Delivery inspection) is an eve wash activity. They expect that if there is problem the customer will come back what is wrong in that. we will fix when he comes back.

   
   

and the list of their poor service to customer is endless. Also, Don't forget writing to the company will not make a difference as they are also not bothered to hear your complaing and will nto respond to your call or mail. Best of Luck! if you are trying to reach their customer relationship management (As there is no such thing in FIAT)

I had an offer of discount at the time of booking which was giving me a discount of 12-15K Rs. But when I reached to take delivery the dealer said scheme is withdrawn and charged me 10K as price Rise since booking.Also, the delaer
