Linea Petrol - Letdown. Review on Fiat Linea

I was waiting for this Linea launch for more than 6 months and postpoing my car upgrade from Ford Ikon..Finally test drove Linea Petrol Dymanic version today...

1. Sales man was kind enogh to bring the vechile to my office in SIPCOT siruseri.. which is about 30kms from city..

   
   




2. There was always sort of existment/exceptetation around this car...

   
   




3. Car was brought to office in the promised time..

   
   




4. 2 of my colluges also joined me to have drive on this beauty...

   
   

The car we got is Silver color Dynamic version.So we 4 including sales man go in to the car.. I was in driver seat.

1.Stared the car.. I could hardly hear any noise... (I was too happy..thinking that my wait is worth)

1. but when I accelarated car picked up very very slow... I had to press it havily to make it move to a decent speed...I was shocked... not really sure what is wrong... so I appilied the breaks and stopped the car... adjutsed the seating postions to the comfertable level.. and accelarated again its the same thing... car was responding very late..

   
   




2. Now I realised why sales man asked the driver to wait and not to come with us for the test drive..

   
   

may it would not have pulled with 5 passengers at all..

1. After clocking ceratin speed engine responded well

   
   




2. Ride quality was very good and tried in the worst roads.

   
   




3. Another big let dow is the quality of plastics used..

   
   

I was not able to open right rear door from inside..Indicator control was broken in the diesel test drive vechile which I drove a week back. Then it my friends turn to drive the car.. he took the driving postion and I took the rear seat..Leg room and head room as no issue for me.. I felt comfertable as I am 5.6

When my friend stepped out of the car... he said first thing to me... poor pickup....He was not at all satisfied with the car..Finally salesman opened the boot and showed it space... and when he tried to close it..It didnt close on attempt one... He pushes it again..it didnt close.... he tries for third time..still

It didnt close.... when my friend tried to attempt, he said dont worry sir our driver will take care..We felt this is beauty for outside... but big a letdown in inside..Was expecting more solid vechile from FIAT.... we were thinking about missed chance of not buying fiesta in the december 90k offer..Also test drove diesel variant 3 times with various dealers..Its the same.. ride quality is good, breaking is excellent... pick is less.. plastics are below par..
