Guys, Am writing my opinion 3rd time in the same site.Am a owner of Fiat Dynamic dsl version in yr 2009 ( 3.5 yrs & 75000 Km over)


All I can summarise is .. Positives..Techincally Good car, great Mileage & Size.Fantastic on long drives on highways


Negatives ..After driving 70000 Km + is below


1) Changed the Suspension Mounting pin for Rs.12500 ( all 4 suspensions together)


2) Replaced small parts like fog lamps for Rs.1800 etc.I would have spent around 10 k , buying highly priced spares in these 3 + yrs


3)Changed my tyre after 60000 KM only ( Not a bad deal this case)


4)Waited for 3 weeks plus certain times for new spare parts and decided to put it locally.


5) Poor AC performance during peak summer.


6) AC vent for INSIDE and outside AIR always malfunctioning inspite of repeated dealer complaint


7) Very poor service attitude in Tata showrooms, I understand they try their best.


8) Service advsiors trck to always gag you to order/replace more parts.For them nothing comes under 4 yr warranty.


I ll share one wonderful example about their service attitude.


Recently, one week back my power windows started malfunctionin and become dead( all 4 windows).I went to Concorde workshop (ambattur, chennai), after waiting 1 hr, and after my persistance, the service adviser checked the car  and commented , the motor has gone and they dont have parts .Pl wait till next FIAT showroom expected to open by 1st Apr and then order your parts there.They said this is not covere din warranty.


Then I took to Carnation Auto , which is quite near by and to my surprise they opened the power connectiosn inside teh car and fxed the problem .They just did cleaning of the motors.Else by ther version, if the dealer had stock , he would have asked me to replace the unit for 4000 Rs.


So just an example of their poor laid back service.


I think FIAT can borrow some service concepts from CARNATION AUTO Guys.In my one vist they impressed me more than my multiple visist to TATA showroom.


Verdict : After 3.5 yrs of my marriage to my Linea ..I ll summarize like this.


I always relate Car to a girl (Since am a man)


The girl is good looking and pretty.She has got nice features which is attractive enough.But beware of their parents .Till marriage they ll be very nice and sweet.But after that they dont support you much and tries to make money from u , most the time by annoying you.But the girl strives her hard to give her best .If you like the girl go for it ;)
