A Must buy Sedan!!. Review on Fiat Linea

I got my beauty Linea Emotion pack petrol on Oct 19/2009 thru a 3rd party dealer cuz they offered some discounts..I got a minimal grey..clocked 1434kms and first service completed.

Built :

The car is rock solid built like a tank. You can listen to the thud sound while u close d doors dats wer u feel d car is rock solid..and above all FIAT uses double gauge sheet for their cars so no compromise on build quality and reliability..

Interiors :

Really great interiors when compared to others in its class. Atleast better dan ANHC..just for sum cheap removable plastics around here n there..Not a thing to worry about. Once you get in it makes your mood and you feel you need to have dis beauty in your garage!!the rear air con is a boon for such a price. Rear space is really comfortable and 3 passengers can b comfortably seated without any problems. The stereo is ok lack of bass at higher volumes you can feel d lack of bass.

Engine :

Now cumin to d engine the famous FIRE engines (fully integrated robotised engines) 1368cc delivering

90ps and 115nm of torque...pickup is very bad in d petrol version infact wen d a/c is on uve to hit d gas pedal hard to move forward..very bad for such a beauty...the shift from 1st to 2nd is very stiff..once in 3rd dats were u realise d cars potential..it wants u to rev hard to get d best outta d engine...and den after dat it neva lets u down..full top of the petrol version is 182kmph verified on wikipedia and team-bhp.com also..its gud for such a heavy and a low capacity(cc) car..cumin to d engine noise..its very niosy as these engines are L4 straight in-line engines so noise is expected from such beasts...but on idle u can hardly make out whether d engine is crancked or not..if d a/c is on den u can certainly say d car is noisy as u can hear d fan noise dats very high...noise in cabin is also audible..FIAT shud work on NVH/insulation levels of this car and better tyres wud also do..

Mileage/Avg :

as most of our running r in city conditions I get around 9-10kmpl with a/c which is negligible for bumper 2 bumper traffic...sumtimes it crosses above 10-11 wen its on highway d best I got ws 14kmpl which is really gud  for a car with such a weight.

Suspension/Ride Quality :

This is were everything starts...the suspension is really smooth and silk..will u make u fly thru every bad road also..v have to give credit to FIAT for doing their homework properly b4 gettin this beauty on d indian roads!! sumtimes u will feel d need to have more ground clearance wen d car is fully loaded wid 5pepl...scrapes thru d breakers which are lyk mountains wen fully loaded..bt its all ok cuz FIAT has given an engine gaurd and tank gaurd so need not worry bout all dose scrapin issues..

Features:

Blue & me is a boon for our country pepl.. as nowadays most of d work is done on cellfones etc..here were d linea scores..the pendrive slot is a bit headache to locate which is inside d glove box..but plays most of ur music..most commands r voice for this car..pair ur phone wid dis beauty and den c d wonders!! ur calls sms's all r taken care off widout ur hands off d steering wheel!! the distance to empty is also accurate and d avg figures too..most of my calculations match wid the car's calculations..

Safety :

On safety dis car scores 10/10 the top model cumin wid 2airbags ABS EBD BA and FPS etc..no need to worry about safety wen u buy a FIAT  car..!!  evn at a speed above 120kmph I felt the car ws well planted on d road and ABS ws doing its job well...wen I get inside my car I feel very much safe as if my car is tellin me "dun worry ur safe in my hands"!!

Overall :

Overall I recommend this product to all looking for a sedan inside 9lacks..end of this year a new linea is expected 1.4l 120bhp tjet...so jus waiting for dat wid better quality interiors and less engine noise!!
