I finished 1000Km in my Punto Emotion Pack Diesel. I bought it exactly 7 days back.
Overall, the car is great.
Few things to improve:
1) Glove compartment size
2) Small door pocket
3) No AC vent in glove box
4) Speaker bass
5) Sluggish at low speed(10-20Kmph)
Things which I felt great:
1) Blue & Me
2) Voice recognition
3) Speed controlled Volume
4) Speed limitter
5) Superb strong body
6) Stable steering
7) Mileage
8) Breaking at 150kmph! Rock solid from 150 to stand still !!!
etc.. etc..
Delivery was given on the promised date and time. To my surprise I got an SMS reminder also from FIAT before deliver time!!!
Driven home which is around 300 KM from Cochin and back.
All total, Nice experience. Much better than my Indica!
Update 06/06/2011:
I did the first free service. Total cost was Rs. 330.
Till now driving was superb. Crossed 7500 KM. Max speed I took was 165kmph in Thrissur Eranakulam NH. There were other cars moving infront and had to reduce the speed since I could not find space to overtake!.
Maximum mileage I got is 26.4 KMPL(Drove almost steady speed around 60KMPH). From Thrissur to Thalassery covering around 175km.
Average mileage was 23.5 kmpl(AC at 22 degree full auto)
In city(Eranakulam) mileage is very poor. Getting only 16.5kmpl. Sometime not even 15kmpl.(Full auto AC at 22 degree)
No issues with the car till now except whistling sound from the boot door bush which they replaced free of cost.
Update 2:
Crossed 55000 Kms.
Not even a single issue untill today except Alloy wheel bend because of Bad roads and my rash driving! Changed all 4 tyre at 50000 Kms. Changes Break pads at 20000 and 45000 Kms.
Note: I had a very bad experience with KVR Dream vehicles, Kannur where I booked the vehicle first. About that, I will post details later.
