After test driving Beat, Ritz, i20, Figo, I took the new Punto petrol 1.2 test drive. There is something about this car! The feel, I guess! That smooth, silent and comfortable driving experience with absolutely no traffic noise was certainly better soothing experience then the rest. Suspension is awesome and so is the overall build. In addition to all the features like tilt steering, all power windows, I found the safety features to be quite amazing, like the fire proof engine and the special additional support provided to the engine.

Overall I found this car to be a well armoured highly sophisticated, relaxing and smooth drive car. I guess the said-mileage is of 15.5, however still need get hold of the true mileage. In Chevy Beat, I found the suspension too bad, it lacks that softness. Though the front seats are spacious and mainly the dashboard is too good to describe, the design is awesome. Still the rear seat space and boot space is of concern. For Swift, though its a best seller, it has now become too common on indian roads. Also the drivability experience in Swift is bit low. Regarding Ritz the drive feel was good but the 'back look'  uhmm, quite debatable!

In regards to Figo, I found the interior material too cheap, especially the door material, the overall build is not stronger. Also it is surprising that its top end model does not provide power window for the rear seat! May be it is good for the first time buyer! i20 is great as far as drivability is concerned, it is smooth, no doubt. The steering is butter smooth, however what about the leg room and cabin space! This point may be debatable, but the car certainly lacks the spaciousness, even at the rear seat and in the boot. I guess in the effort for providing additional luxury add-ons and styling, the space matter has really been overlooked. I feel for long out station drive this can be a problem.

Uhmmm, nowadays, especially in the current hatchback into market, selecting that one perfect car is certainly not that Ezy!
