Ferrari Ki Sawari: Review ke Jaisa Preview
Friends!! Every movie made is a good movie otherwise the maker would not make it. What makes it successful is how many people think like him and identifies with his idea of entertainment. So more or less, You will like a movie if you and the makers think alike.
So I will not focus on general story line or normal review patterns, I will just put some facts which will help you decide whether you will like it or not.
Now Ferrari ke Sawari has a formidable team.
Director: Rajesh Mapuskar
(assistant director of 3 Idiots and Lage raho munna bhai, some ad films and marathi videos)
Writers: Rajesh, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Raju Hirani
(great team..needs no introduction Munna Bhai and 3 Idiots).
Cast: Sharman Joshi and Boman
(can't go wrong with anything)
Over all the team is very good so it will be an above average film.
Now will it go to the next level and recreate the magic that 3 idiots created.
My take is a big "NO".
Reasons:
3 idiots was largely inspired by "five.someone by Chetan Bhagat". That is a wonderful story indeed. So to find another good story like that is something I suspect.
This team made 2 movies before that "Munna Bhai MBBS and Lage Raho Munna Bhai" with the first one has high repeat value as compared to th3 second one.
The focus shifted from humor to sarcasm and society in the two movies.
First one had a better story and better pace and humor, second one had a good plot but it was rather collection of stories and plots.
So from the interview and story lines, what I could gather is Ferrari Ki Sawari will be a series of events which a Father Son duo would encounter.
The events will be ranging from goons, corrupt politicians, jokers, characters from society.
So movie will have its funny bit but it is suspected to drift more towards current situation of society, satires on system etc etc.
Moreover the director is new and can't say how much freedom he would have got.
So my verdict is movie will not sag, it will have pace but the real humor and fun element can be missing.
I will give 6.5 out of 10 based on high expectations from the team.
