Tell me something. Is it wrong to read a woman's mag by a guy.Well,I have to admit that guy is me.You see, when I was young My mom used to read Eve's Weekly which was a very popular mag in those days. This was during the early seventies. At that time to kill my boredom I used to read the mag and used to get intrigued by all the stuff that was inside. And I don't mind admitting that I am more closer to the opposite gender than my own.Well then,FEMINA occupied a nice cozy place in my heart in the years to come. You see they have a very nice way of putting their ideas across. In fact I would say that they are the COSMOPLITAN of India. The way they have steadily made inroads into the hearts of millions of women across the country is very heartening. In fact when one of my close relatives was going through a drastic marital problem Femina came to her rescue.Although it did not manage to rescue her marraige it at least put her on a good path to independence and today she has a thriving business of her own.I have a lot of female friends who seem to have some kind of problem or the other and many a time FEMINA has come to their rescue. The advice columns have been well conceived and now you see more women coming out into the open and voicing their opinions. It is thanks to Femina and many other such women's mags which help women to come out into their own and become independent and not rely on men for their daily sustenance.Shall I say three cheers then, for women's lib at the risk of getting brickbats from my male friends?
