From childhood I was an ardent fan of Satyajit Ray. I am fan of his films, poems, short stories, novels, documentaries & what not. Besides being an international fame & an oscar winning director, he dwells in the heart of bengalis for his contributions like Feluda, Tarini khuro & professor Shonku to the bengalis. He was such a personality who is dearer to every bengali's heart. His all time creations like Sonar Kella, Pather Panchali, Ghare Baire are pride of the bengalis.
Feluda's first appearance took place in the December, 1965 through the novel'Feludar Goendagir'. Many could relate the personality of feluda to Uttam Kumar in Nayak(released in 1966). feluda's sharp mind(the magajastra), courage & a wide area of knowledge has made him the most popular detective of all time. Feluda was written keeping in mind for the children. The incidents, characters & the mystery are framed as such. no one can find any bit of adulthood in it which makes it unique & popular in all the age groups.
Feluda stories have been translated to many languages including Hindi & English so that non bengalis cam also enjoy the gripping mysteries solved fy Feluda.
