I just recently opened an account with FEDERAL bank. Staff were friendly and helpful both at branch and phone officers.
I have no problems at all and that too using their freedom savings bank for a merely 1000 Rupees AQB.
They also have a lot of goodies like fednet and international debit card with visa verified. They also have special tie up with gulf and american banks for fast remittance.
Overall my experience with this bank has been shocking. I used to think the banks where everyone has an account would be the safest best banking. but they are just crowded and with appalling services like ICICI and HDFC.
Just a small issue with them putting my voters card address and not the address written during account opening.
