LOCAL BRANCH STAFF ARE FRIENDLY BUT I HAVEN'T SEEN SUCH A HORRIBLE INTERNET, AND MOBILE APP BANKING ANYWHERE ELSE.


I am NRE account holder with this bank for past few years. whenever I visit my local branch in Mannarkkad, I did feel that the staffs are friendly and helping. Managers were good to approach and staffs are welcoming. However I had this terrible experience from the Mannarkkad branch staff.


On the day they have issued me a new ATM card, the lady who gave me the card forgot to activate it because she was busy chatting with her colleague in the next counter. I was a just beginning a long journey, and I tried the card after driving few hours and found the card is not working. I had to call them back and they want me to go back.! Finally it end up in a big argument and I had to call cus care to activate the card. They didnt have any information about my new card and couldn't do it. My ICICI ATM card helped me to survive three days.


In the case of internet banking, I am wondering which software company made this sluggish website. Its got lot of bugs. Not user friendly at all. I had the following troubles,


I added a third party account and transferred money, on the next day there was no such payee in the list, and I have to add them again.(They said its technical issue).


There is no option to save a bank account details if it is federal bank account. That means, if u want to transfer money to other fed bank, then u have to remember the account number every time and enter.!


They have an option to email the reciept and transaction summary, and it is never worked for me.!


For the iPhone app, u have to wait 24 hours to activate the payee. The why we need mobile banking?


Called cus care many time regarding this but the response were pathetic.
