Truly a Man of Substance. Review on Farooque Sheikh

Not many people know the other side of Farooque Sheikhji. That he is an actor parexcellence,though a bit lazy on chalking out his carrer moves,is a known fact.His subtle acting skills on screen and theatre have left many enthralled.His professional life reflects the fact that he belives in quality then quantity.But more important is his attitude towards life and people. Truly optimist and positive in his approach,he has changed many a life to better.I asked him once as to how can one change the dirty politics or seemingly depressing ''system'' of our country.His reply was short and so profound-''By getting INVOLVED''. Apart from his sparkling white attire(wander how many chiken kurtas he has ,which he adorns even in delhi's december chill!) & immaculate manners,what immediately draws your attention is his delectable wit and strong deep conviction.He is a voracious reader and has indepth knowledge about sociopolitical history.He can talk at length about national and international issues,cinema,relegions,even horses and ayurvedic medicines(He does not quite believe in allopathic medicines and would rather avoid them as far as possible-a fact over which I have had argument with !-though u can hardly ever beat him down with words!!)The other side I had mentioned about are his large heartedness and compassion.It is not unusual for him to empty his pockets for a needy person on the spur of moment which makes him a sensitive, palpably real man among the common masses.He has used his celebrity status for many social causes without blowing the activist or charity trumpet.There is much which can be written about this charming wise man,but it would suffice here by saying that it was an absolute delight and honor to know Mr Farooque Sheikh.
