The movie which brought SRK back. Review on Fan

For the last couple of years SRK gave more priority to Masala Entertainment Movies which is much of crap because he had done much meaningful movies in the past and he has the potential to put forward some heavy performance if he had to. Chennai Express, Happy New Year was successful in the box-office but considering critics the movies does not do much wave. The last film Dilwale also went into the same category but as comparing the box-office run it was not much satisfactory. From the promotion of "FAN" itself everybody was looking forward for a good film from SRK.

Story:

Gaurav is a diehard fan of film star Aryan Khanna who lives in Delhi. He gets a local talent show award for portraying Aryan Khanna and after receiving the award he goes to Mumbai to see Aryan Khanna. His wish was to show the award and gave the sweets his mother sent to Aryan Khanna. Eventhough he reaches Aryan's house he could just see him from the far distance because of huge crowd and security reasons. So to get Aryan's attention he goes to Aryan's rival hero Sid. At the time Gaurav reaches Sid, there was a issue expressions between the actors. So Gaurav gets to Sid privately and blackmails him to say apology and sends the video to Aryan to get to him personally. Instead of that Aryan gets himself personally, he traps Gaurav into police custody. In the cell secretly Aryan comes to meet the fan Gaurav. Aryan tell that everything Gaurav done is wrong and he concludes the meeting that he is does not need fans like Gaurav. Gaurav goes back to Delhi but the words of Aryan makes him to hate him and his intention now is to take revenge against his Superhero Aryan Khanna. What's left catch it while watching the movie itself.

Cast:

I would say it was one of the best performance of SRK after "My Name Is Khan". He just showed what he is capable of with double role(Gaurav & Aryan) with different ages. Gaurav is a young man but Aryan is experienced and aged actor. To perform role of Gaurav SRK had some long make up and kuddos to the that department how made him look young. And other main roles where Gaurav's mom, dad, girl friend, etc. their roles were very small and SRK shined through out the movie.

Behind the Camera:

Maneesh Sharma the director has done a wonderful job. Film did not get be bored a it will tie you to the seats till the end. Camera by Manu Anand also need some appreciation. Even though th Fan anthem songs is not in movie it helped the movie alot in the promotion and and it was great to hear, I personally like the song very much.

Conclusion:

From my point of view the film is well recommended one. If you missed it in theatre don't worry catch the movie in DVD. It is a break for SRK the box-office didn't had good run for this movie. I was because of the bad films he had done before this movie that affected Fan's collection and there were many good movie while its release from especially from Hollywood "The Jungle Book". Its always better than the crap masala entertainments.
